    Hello, my first time to your channel, I enjoyed the video. That would save me some money, Iwould like to make some of those towels. What is each of those materials your using?

      Natural materials work best. I use cotton in this video.

    Do the edges stay secure enough after use and washing without securing the chained off ends? i.e. I don't have to tuck them in anywhere, I can just snip the excess? Seems to good to be true, but I'm new to serging.

      I cut the edges short, about 2cm/1 inch, and defray them a little. Then I give the longest thread a good pull. This creates a knot and should stop fraying. I hope this helps.

    I need that other fabric! Are you willing to share where you got it?

      I am sorry but I am not sharing where I get the fabric that makes me the most money. I found it in a physical store nearby. I have never seen it sold online.

    Can I put the fabric in the dryer instead of air dry??

      If you have one, you can use it of course. I don't have one so I can't use one.

    What kind of fabric is each one: the green leaves, is that PUL and the white??? What are the size of each cloth??

    • @GreenHappyMom
      @GreenHappyMom  2 роки тому +3

      The white is muslin cloth (very absorbent), the other side is regular fabric. Both are 100% cotton. PUL would not work for unpaper towels as you want your towels to be absorbent (PUL is waterproof and doesn't absorb water). The towels are 25cm by 25cm or 10 inch by 10 inch.

      What is the second choice of the material (closest next to muslin cloth) ??

    • @GreenHappyMom

      @@tammyhammer1444 Any natural material should work. Terry is a nice choice as can absorb a lot but it is also very bulky. Flannel is nice and soft which is a great choice for faces.

    Me, I'd be ironing😁

    • @GreenHappyMom
      @GreenHappyMom  2 роки тому +1

      I will not iron all those meters of fabric. I'd go crazy 😅. I just make sure I fold it without any folds so it is as flat as possible.

    You really wash all the fabric before sowing?

    • @GreenHappyMom
      @GreenHappyMom  3 роки тому +5

      Yes! I would not like it if you purchased the towels and they end up acting weird after washing.

      Also pre shrinks the fabric. I used to work in a quilt shop.
