Thank you! I so love Asian landscapes with tiny human figures. It’s so fun to get lost in them. I wish I had been taught more Asian Art during my art history education.
When I was in graduate school, my Chinese classmate (who had studied Art History in China) and I went to the museum and took turns explaining western vs eastern art to each other. I mostly just told bible stories (I’m not Christian) and tried to explain why people are so very obsessed with the suffering of Jesus and his mother.
