Cold Water Giants on the Great Lakes

- In this video, I am fishing in Milwaukee on Lake Michigan with my good buddy Eric Haataja for a fish that I've been searching for my entire life, a deep cold water Lake Trout! Once we got to the Lake Trout fishing spot, Eric threw the first cast, and within 10 seconds, he was hooked up to the first lake trout of the day. Eric continued to dominate the fishing competition between us, catch the second and third lake trout back to back. I started getting frustrated; nothing was working for me. Eric let me use his lucky fishing rod, and after throwing a few casts, I was hooked up! I finally caught my first ever lake trout! After releasing my first lake trout, I switched my bait to a soft plastic and hooked a giant! I fought this monster fish for 10 minutes before we could safely catch it in the net. This was the biggest fish of the day and by PB lake trout, what a monster!

Hate to see all the hate on the other guy. They clearly said he’s on vacation he’s going to have fun. If he’s a charter captain/guide he doesn’t get to fish. And those guys don’t become captains because they hate fishing. He’s probably have a few drinks, enjoying his vacation, and overall doing his passion having a blast while doing it. So many people here judging someone they don’t know because he’s having fun. Is he overly social/trolling? Of course. But he’s having a blast which I’m sure is well needed for him.

My observations: I love how Jorgenson stays polite even when he’s not catching the fish (even when having his face rubbed in it)… I’m amazed at how big these fish are given the depth of the water (from the underwater shots)... I haven’t finished the video, but I’m just hoping they use the spoon that I sent Jorgensen in the mail a while back! :-)
I love living by Lake Erie . It’s so nice in the summer and put in bay has always been a good time 😂

This may be an older video. BUT, I'm here to tell ya it's flipping cold in Wisconsin in the fall and winter. Being that I'm from UPSTATE NY( SYRACUSE) I can attest to this. I went their to train gor a job and froze my ass off. Shiiita cold. Lol. You all can keep it. I get plenty of Brown's out of Oneida lake and lake Ontario. ✌ and Happy fishing.

Josh you should come up and experience the king salmon fishing in lake Ontario. I work on a charter boat from apr through September and i garuntee we can put you on the fish! If you make a video with us then there would be no charge for 2 days of charter fishing. We have a 30 ft aquasport that is 11ft wide so theres plenty of room for comfort

You can sometimes see large ones swim by past rocky out cropings right near shore when they are hunting small fish in the shallows in Lake Ontario...
