I'm a professional captain and deliver sailboats, usually alone. When I'm sailing offshore this is what I listen to. Especially when it's cold and gray. I'm almost 80 years old and this music keeps me company while at sea alone.

Pleeeeeeeeeease release the performance in its entirety on UA-cam. Pleeeeeeeease. My wife purchased a ticket and we watched on the release day, it was spellbinding. I NEED to share this with the unacquainted and UA-cam is a universal medium in which to do so.
I'm in no position to make any demands, but I'm not above begging. With the inclusion of "Dronning Ellisiv", this concert exceeded the magnificence of the "Folkesange" CD that I adore so much. I don't remember how many times I watched both of your wonderful virtual concerts, but it wasn't nearly enough. Please, I beg you, please release at least this gorgeous performance on DVD or blu ray. Whether you do or you don't, I sincerely thank you for both of the virtual presentations and I can't express how much I loved them.
This song is crushingly beautiful to me. Im a death and black metal head but i love music like this. It does something to my soul. The world would be a better place if more people would listen to it. The purity of can not be understated.

Hey! We share the same feeling my fellow Iranian brother :) Nordic folk music has a very special place in my heart as well. Gotta admit .... when I listen to artists like Wardruna, Heilung, Forndom, Eivør, Skáld etc. my mind doesn't understand a word but my heart and soul 100% do, and I believe that's the sheer power of music. Only the universal language of music can connect all of us with each other in some way and evoke something so deep and primal at the core of our shared human experience regardless of our nationalities, gender, age etc.

This is a masterpiece performance of millennia to me. I can’t get enough of this and I can’t believe how moving this is to me.
There is an old perhaps ancient energy to this music that we all recognize.
On one hand I c ant understand why literally everyone doesn’t cherish this music as I do, (we do?) .

While stationed in Germany in 1989, i drove to Denmark, and surprisingly, my last name was as common there as Smith or Jones in the US. So many phone book listings...
Then I later found out my father was adopted, so it doesn't matter now. I'm related to inbred Nebraskans Mennonites.
But!
I'll never forget the week I spent in that beautiful country and the amazing photographs I took of the giant sailboats (right out of the movies), other docked boats, horses on open pastures, stone pathways, hay covered residences, mansions and the people. The entire place was just so photogenic that its easier to describe with the photos I took.
This is incredibly beautiful and moving.......it is totally magic........a vision of another world where I wish I could go..........and dream.....

Purchased the Folkesange CD and have to say it has some of the most haunting and beautiful set of songs I've heard in a while. This group is amazing. I think Myrkur is a Siren, her music could lure you to your death; it's that beautiful. Brilliantly crafted music that seems grounded to the elements.

Music is said to be a universal language and this proves that to me. I can only pick out a few words of the lyrics that I know, yet I have listened to this piece at least 50 times and it moves me every time! Between the simple instrumentation, chord structure and the amazing vocals, one does not need to speak the language to understand the music!

Last year I had tickets for the a Heilung concert, with Myrkur as the first supporting act. Didn’t know then then. It took ages to queue for entry, but I was relaxed as I thought „oh you‘ll just miss some support acts“. Then Myrkur started playing and I was so desperate to get on the concert pitch .. their music hooked me from the first notes. Seeing them in Vienna soon .. 🤩🤩🤩
