  • The Sexual Health Portal, on the Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet website, is designed to support those working and studying in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander sexual health sector by making workforce information and resources easily accessible.
This video provides a short overview of the Portal, including an easy-to-follow demonstration on how to find information and resources easily, with tips on how to refine searches and filter content.
The Portal contains 'knowledge exchange products', ‘spotlighted documents' and key facts about sexual health, specific to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
There are also six subtopics to help users refine their search for content - they include:
    • Healthy relationships
    • Safe sex
    • Sexuality
    • Reproductive health
    • Sexually transmitted infections and blood-borne viruses
    • Sexual disorders.
Further down the Portal, users can find publications, polices, resources, programs, and organisations, as well as workforce information including courses, events, funding opportunities and job vacancies, all relating to sexual health among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The Sexual Health Portal is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.
