Wise words from my Cuban grandmother.. “Every woman should have a secret emergency account that you deposit into routinely. Even if it’s $20, you put it away.”, I’m glad that I listened. One day domestic violence showed its face for the first time in my marital home. Within TWO days I had a house rented and my kids and I moved. Gracias Abuela!
Yes she was teaching you to prepare yourself for an emergency situation... if everyone was taught this this video wouldn’t even be a thing... I’m so glad you were prepared 😀👍
@the goldenbowl Every woman in a relationship should have a separate account in your name. I had the same experience where I my ex closed out out the joint account unknown to me. We had an account separately for the mortgage on the house. Unknown to him I had my own Separate account . Women wake up. I love u doesn't always mean I won't steal from you.
My husband did the same thing but he didn't take physical things. He starved himself so he would lose weight and tell people he did because I was abusing him while he was the one abusing me emotionally and financially, he refused to work so I would be the one taking care of everything on a teacher salary and he wasted my savings then cheated and brought his side chick in my own house. I left, moved to another country and rebuilt myself up. We are survivors.
My husband did the samething to me went home to an empty apartment even took the carpet and vacuum lol. I was heart broken didn't know what to do we had a 8 yr old that I had to explain the empty apartment to and why dad doesn't live here anymore. Once I stopped crying I went back to school became a RN got my own car my own place i now travel and got my peace of mind. Waiting on my divorce to be finalized and thank God he left because I wasn't happy. Thank God for where I am today.
My girlfriends husband left her for a woman he met online. They were married for over 20 years. Her career has soared since. Her kids are doing well and in college. She is now married to a man who is good to her and for her. Her ex married and divorced the other woman. His leaving ended up being a blessing.
The husband was definitely a narcissist. He discarded her but when she healed herself and got all this positive attention (that is well deserved), that's why he wanted to come back. The other girl (because I'm sure there was one) probably threw him away too. I can't stress how proud I am of this woman for getting out of a toxic situation. It's all up from here, girl!
@@BbBb-hw5pq EXACTLY! I also believe that asking; “What did you do? What happened? What did HE do that is a contributing factor?” are valid questions. Perhaps the timing was off with THE questions, but overall there are two sides to every story. With that being said, it IS quite possible that he did what he did simply because he’s an A’HOLE with no moral compass. Considering he wants to get back with her, I think it’s safe to say that he was likely the cause of whatever transpired during their marriage. Save for his life being in danger, I think he handled it in one of the most horrible ways possible. I wish her all the happiness she can find!
He didn't want her back. He probably ended up homeless & needed a place to stay. Whatever he may have been doing when he left her no longer were so he decided that he would return to the "weaker" one.

Tamron lost her sister to domestic violence. She has a big heart but especially for women who are being abused. Abuse is not just physical. He financially and emotionally abused her.
My husband did this years ago. I went to work and when I came home everything was gone, including the coffee pot. When he showed back up days later everything had been replaced and he was mad because he didn’t expect that. I’m so happy for this young lady and I wish her the best.
It weird how people want you to suffer. When you pick yourself up they are upset 😡 you leaving you would think they would be happy But that's not enough there souls are tormented
Oh this is so emotional to me right now 😩😥 my husband did the same thing to me 6 years ago. But now I'm happy to be financially free and currently growing a solid retirement plan. It takes a positive and consistency to learn new things, unlearn the old habits ms Important to get a mentor/coach to lead you all the way. It's great to start young too!

I believe him he reached out because he truly realised there was no one better out there. A case of the grass is always greener on the other side. My ex told me that he was going to find a younger woman blah blah blah. Months later he tried to get back with me. I asked him what happened to the young woman he went looking for. He was full of regret because he said realised I was the one. Sadly for him I had moved on.

Wow, what a beautiful ending for such a beautiful woman. God bless her! My husband walked out after 40 years of marriage and 7 months later married his 60 year old high school sweetheart. It's now been 10 years and I'm retired, former military, still single, own my own home and vehicle and still living a great life. I'll be 70 in October but I'm really ok and deeply blessed for my journey. Our 2 adult daughters are educated, independent and excellent women. The reason people asked her what she did is because it's frightening to think something like this can happen without reason. If she did something, then they will be safe as long they don't do that thing. She was a soft spoken, submissive wife and still got played. That's a scary thought for people who believe that there is magic formula for making another person happy. The truth is we don't have any control over our partners no matter what we do.
You are spot on! People keep asking what she did, because they don't want to believe that a man could be so mean and heartless towards a woman without a justifiable reason. People don't like the ugly truth that some people are just bad people and they don't need a reason to mistreat someone... because it means it can happen to anyone including THEM!
The comeback is always greater than the setback. He'll reap what he's sown if he hasn't already. His rejection was indeed God's protection. I'm happy that she's moving on and I pray that she has continued blessings.
He sure will! When he least expects it! But he gonna need her and hopefully she blocks his number! He realized the grass wasn’t so green on other side.
My husband of 20 years left me for a married woman he met on his commuter train. He took everything we owned. I left that marriage with the clothes on my back only. I told my divorce lawyer the details, he told me it was the worst case of financial abuse he had ever heard of. It’s a lesson you never forget. Fast forward 3 years, I’ve never been happier. Life is beautiful and I can’t believe I stayed with that loser for so long. When they dump us for another, they are doing us a big favor❤️
This just happened to me. My ex took nearly everything but the engagement ring. I’m only 1 1/2 months into the break up but I already feel so much better. I’m a way better mother for my children. He is texting he wants me back but only because things must of didn’t work out with the woman he left his family for. But I am a firm believer in this story. Remember Ciara ditched future and found Russell ❤. Love yourself ladies..
When you don't want them anymore the will take everything from you including the child (ren) Thank God my Son is old enough to know who did what but the crooked illegal system wanted to see who had the most money & he thinks he won but God is watching & he is going to expose them All

That's great story but Russel Wilson is a one in a million person. Most millionaires with no kids not going take care of someone elses's kids. And most people aren't millionaires.
In 2014 I was 3 months pregnant with a 1 year old fleeing an abusive marriage. My family had to come get us out of Alabama from Michigan. When threats didn't work my ex-husband immediately drained the banking account, and we started over with nothing. From there I got back in education, became a Principal, and started a business. My daughters are happy and healthy, and as a family we are helping other people. Tests like these become your greatest testimony. God bless you all! We're on the top and going higher.
Solo mom, the state of In the state Alabama identifies as an “equitable distribution state.” It was illegal for your ex husband to take all of the money out of your account and anything else the two of you acquired during your marriage. Obviously you did not get an attorney. The state of Alabama recognizes adultery and abandons of the marriage for at least 12 months as grounds go a fault-based divorce in Alabama. Therefore, you should have sued your then husband for at the least abandonment of and marriage and any children born in the marriage. You made yourself a victim.

This happened to me. Leaving me with 4 children. I came back from a family dinner. I had such a great time. I drove an hour to get my beautiful home looking forward to seeing my husband. I walked in my beautiful home was empty. Even took the family TV and game system. I was so heartbroken. Someone said to me what did you do. What how dare you? I loved him and our family. I thought I did what I what he needed. Sometimes people have their own things they are dealing with and don't communicate that. Why did you not immediately get an attorney and sued him for abandonment and taking most of the martial property. Hopefully you at least got child support!!!!!!’
I went through the same thing. I dated my ex husband for 4 yrs and was married for 1 1/2 yrs. He told me he never wanted any of this and I had to move out of our house, because my name was not on it. Moved back in with my mother broken, in between marketing jobs. I had to seek the Lord, take responsibility for my part, started all the way over with my teen son. After doing to work I finally got my own place and got to live on my own for the 1st time in my life with my son, my career in marketing took off and I was promoted in a year. I decided to start dating which I never did. It was okay to say no after meeting guys knowing that they were not my person. I finally ended up meeting my now husband. I moved a few states over with my son and now I'm a housewife. I exercise 4 to 5 times a week, clean, cook which I love to do, make my husband lunch and his partner because he owns his own business, Etc. I'm still trying to balance being a housewife, because this is all new for me. I clearly see how God can turn something so ugly into something so beautiful. If God be for you who can be against you. May the Lord bless this woman and when the time is right and she wants it I pray she finds a real man who will love and cherish her the way God commanded a real man to do. In the mist of every storm God is still good 🥲
The same thing happened to the children and I in 1997...by now divorce husband emptied the our house even turned off all the amenities, took all the food and the list goes on and on...To God be the glory, the now grown children and I have beyond what we all lost. I earned my Doctorate, and all three children have 1-2 degree...and the blessings continues...
I was married for 24 years, mine did the same. But the peace I received when he left was the best thing. When I met my husband he was a parking attendant on a bike. I had the car. I helped him and supported him in everything he did, he became a firefighter and I was told to put family first and be a home maker. Happiness comes when you realize and accept the fact when you are with a man that makes you cry on a regular basis, abuses you in a variety of ways and leaves for his midlife crisis, you need to jump for joy. I am renewed and even though he took the retirement money he does not have the peace that I have. Karma is real! You cannot mistreat others and think it will work out right for you. Peace and happiness to all who married monsters. ❤

Listen to what she just said, “He made his statement loud and clear and I heard it this time.” That’s a very telling statement about their marriage! It means she knew that there was issues in the marriage that she knew about, and didn’t take it seriously! The way he took everything was wrong without leaving anything for her! Sometimes as women we ignore the signals in our relationships that are serious! The way you treat people will come back to you and sometimes with a swiftness! He definitely got it in return! I hope she finds happiness!
Yup! 23 years she was with that man. He probably left or ghosted or broke up with her several times before and she always gave him a second, third, fourth, or fifth chance. This time, he was ruthless. But I think the kicker for her, was the embarrassment of it all. Many women tend think once we get that r in g, we got the man/woman, and that marriage is forever. Clearly it's not. After 18 years of waiting for a ring, he did the ultimate betrayal. Glad she is better and happier
i agree. Thats why people were asking what was her part in the situation. I dont think they were blaming her, but people figured that more had to be to the story. Cause nobody leaves like that without warning sign’s beforehand.
I agree, shoot I’m still wondering what she did cause she didn’t acknowledge anything! No one up and leaves like that for no reason even if it’s a selfish one!
I am literally here now. Starting my life over from scratch from a toxic abusive marriage. Left everything living with my sister and sometimes I feel like giving up but this is sooooooo encouraging
Don't give up. Just take it a day at a time, it gets easier with time. I've been there and the peace of mind I experience now is beyond words. Well worth the the struggle.
Isn't it crazy how you're applauded when you left everything from a toxic situation but when a man chooses to do the same he's hated? Someone explain that
I literally contemplated suicide. I knew what I was going to do, but then my daughter texted to tell me how much she loved me & they would see me when they got home. I thought how their life would be further ruined if they came home & found me lifeless. I got on my knees & asked God to help me! If she did him wrong (based on your theory) and he felt the need to do what he did, he should not want to go back - ever! Why? Because what she did would've been so horrible, that it would've justified his actions, correct? I cringe when I hear the word “bad.” She married him, so he obviously had good qualities to her at the time. As much as it is insensitive to ask “what did she do” the question on everyone’s mind is “why”…What was so bad about the marriage that he left without a word. She said after he left she finally “heard him.” Tells me they were fighting prior to all of this over something and he voiced several times that she didn’t understand or hear him.
@@AkireMaru It really isn’t the fact that he left though, it’s the way he did it. No conversation, no warning and took most of her things leaving her with almost nothing. No one deserves that. I’m so happy she’s healing, blessing to her on her new journey.
I was so excited the way Tamron was so excited for her....oh, Bless her heart... Tamron is a gem. I'm so happy for the guest and that she moved on with her life and finding happiness again. I wish her the very best in life and pray she finds herself with someone that will treat her like a queen.
God Bless you and keep building, This same thing happened to my daughter and my granddaughter who was 14 months at the time. He decided he didn't want to be married anymore and left her and her baby in the apartment . But, she's rebuilding her life , she's been getting blessings after blessings.
Yes, when someone show who they are to you believe them. He shut off your internet, which you need for your business or job. He didn't care if you can work to pay your bills. When he took everything out of the apartment. He telling you to sink or swim.
What's even more unbelievable is those that ask her "What did you do" obviously they didn't get the memo on being dumped, I'm glad this broken hearted woman had the sense to not hand her heart to him a second time.
It’s crazy to hear what her friend said about how she flowed without him but while with him it wasn’t like that my friends told me the same thing…..today is the first day I had to choose to walk away from 6yrs. Pray my strength I look forward to getting my glow again. Thank you for your testimony.

I hate to say this but I've noticed in the black community when black women speak their truth about the awful things that we've endured in relationships, it's often met with a high level of skepticism and "what did you do?" responses. I'm glad she's living her best life now. I remember her story. It was so sad.
Honestly sometimes “what did you do” is warranted. We have to be honest with ourselves bc what happens is we continue to get in to bad relationship bc we don’t own our short comings to be whole for the next relationship.
Butterfly Jones, I agree. There has to be responsibility and accountability. All the woman who were in hostile and abusive relationships saw the signs before they married the abuser or got into the relationship. Generally woman get into bad or abusive relationships and stay in these relationships because of bad choices and then play the victim. Male and female abusers prey on individuals with no self esteem, are depleted emotionally, spiritually, and psychologically, lack self worth, and seek validation from the wrong people. Most if not all of the abused and abandoned women in the comments most likely came from single mother homes or homes where the father was present but absent emotionally and the father never validated these women when the women were little girls. As a result these girls grew up to be women who sought validation from men and self worth from men.

During the pandemic I asked my husband to leave. It was just too much , he contributed nothing. Our child is now 16, during this time he went to Brazil fathered a child, had multiple women, I was confined to my room, told me how fat and ugly I was, verbally and mentally abused our child and has called his child once since the day I asked him to leave. My child now has to get psychological and Psychiatric therapy after ending up in the hospital for 4 months. Her story made me so emotional, but it also reminds me there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I really don't want to be bitter.
I'm happy to hear that this rezealant Woman is still Living Her Best Life💯💯💯 She reminds me of my Mother and how she put her life back together after my father tried to ruin her life. You can never keep a Blessed Person down💯💯💯
She made my morning 🌅 I've been depressed for so long, After seeing her I actually smiled. Very happy for her, And thank God! For this video.... It really helped me.
This story and and comments are so inspirational. I am still trying , as a divorcee and now a single mother, who also had the rug pulled completely under with a young toddler and pregnant, to have that better version of myself. I of course survived but I at times relive the trauma because I have to coparent with this individual who did these horrible things to me. I am so happy I stumbled upon this and read every one’s story. It gives me hope to keep going. We must support each other and also protect each other.

You will be a force to reckon with. Spiritually, financially and emotionally you will be on top of YOUR game. Surround yourself with people who love you, I mean love you and not saying I told you so. Focus on you and raising those sweet children. God bless you. Also, therapy and journaling are great tools. Be Blessed today, tomorrow & forever more. YOU GOT THIS!
Tamron Hall is just so beautiful. I don't just mean visually, but her energy and personality is so endearing and warm. She's definitely meant to be doing this show because her sensitivity is welcomed, especially in circumstances like these where she shows her humanity. Beautiful!
Yeah he is going to have to be in therapy especially when she gets married again, I can see she is on her way to better situation. See when you don't seek revenge on a person you allow them to receive there own karma which far worse than revenge

I remember seeing the viral video but didn’t recognize her at the time. I am just realizing that this beautiful soul actually went to Jr. High School with me. She was extremely talented and outspoken so to see her have her spirit broken so maliciously is heart wrenching. But, it’s great to see that in time God always restores what we lose. Wise words from my Cuban grandmother.. “Every woman should have a secret emergency account that you deposit into routinely. Even if it’s $20, you put it away.”, I’m glad that I listened.

He doesn't get to make a U-turn after such a betrayal. I believe the fact that he is willing to go back, invalidates the theory you're attempting to put forth - imo. I understand there are THREE sides to every story. But, it's also important to look at what's in front of you. In general, Men do not forgive nearly half as much as women do. If she did him wrong (based on your theory) and he felt the need to do what he did, he should not want to go back - ever! Why? Because what she did would've been so horrible, that it would've justified his actions, correct? It means he did what he did because he had PROOF that she is a liar, a cheat, an adulterer, manipulative, deceitful, etc... WHO would want to KNOWINGLY reconcile with someone like that? I'm not buying it. He jumped ship, thinking he had someone better than her (or, that he would be better off alone) and it backfired, imo.

😂😂😂i love coming to the comment section to really understand how a woman's heart really thinks...wow such vindictive energy there sweetie...very opposite of the act you put on in public spaces 😂😂😂
This brought me to tears. She's such a lovely young lady. I can see her spirit and it's beautiful.
Her internal joy is so evident. She is glowing.
