You explained how the cue ball was moving and why a lot better than I ever could. I never really thought about the rail putting left or right on the cue ball until I tried making that Chris Melling shot. Really good graphics btw.
Wow! The graphics you use in your videos as well as the very clear instructions make your videos entertaining as well as informative. It really elevates your videos above the crowd. Keep up the good work!
Great video. Animations and explanations are fantastic. I can’t play during the pandemic but I still feel like I am working on my game by watching your videos. Subscribed!
Sharivari, I agree your videos are the best on the web. I especially like the videos that discuss principles of cue ball action, how to get it, and why it happens. It's not always intuitive and you explain this one perfectly. We can carry these fundamentals with us and "see" more shots by knowing how to employ them. That is so important and, equally important in my opinion, such knowledge adds beauty to the game. Just like the shot at the end of the video. More than a few times, I've had amateur players or spectators tell me I made a beautiful shot. Sometimes I wonder if they knew how beautiful it actually was.
Very precise and well concise elaboration. Even if its familiar for some of us, you made a very thorough video for the people who are not familiar with this phenomenon. Thumbs up mate.
This is a great shot to learn. I only learnt this recently and it works so well. Before that I would have used left or right side (english) but it's not as effective. Thanks for all your great videos.

It could be a little more effective. But there are a few things to consider: if you hit hard the spin doesn't grab as good as when hitting soft. If you hit low you can't really add a lot of spin. And if you don't adjust for deflection the contact point on the rail will change to your disadvantage.
Man, your vids are teriffic...question - the cue ball is somewhere up at the head of the table...object ball is at foot of table, in the jaws of a corner pocket...i need to sink that ball, then my next ball is also at the foot of the table, on the rail near the other corner...so I want to sink the one in the jaws, from the other end of the table, and leave the cue ball sitting near the foot rail for shape on the ball near the other pocket...How do I do it? How do I make the cueball stay down by that rail? Thanks.
Thanks mate. Well obviously you could play it very slow with rail first, or play a stop shot or even a force folllow shot. I think I played the situation you just described in my video "How to play and use a force follow shot". ua-cam.com/video/RCv-Lu8oTxs/v-deo.html

I was looking for a video explaining this for awhile, but couldn't find one. Great explanation. Thank you!
Thanks for the video.
Clearly explained with good examples and animation demonstration.

Best pool videos on youtube ever. Thanks a lot for this awesome content. 👍
Thanks a lot Marco!
I've been really wondering about what happens to spin when it hits the rail. This is very very nicely described!
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for your videos mate.

Awesome video. Thank you for showing this. I learned something new. Great channel Sir!
Great advice. Will be using it in my league match tonight!
Just when I needed a new video! Thank you boss
I'd give this video another thumbs up if I could.
fantastic video.
this was helpful the spin does not get reversed by hitting rail finally I get what is happening
Love the vids
You recommend adding "low". Would "low left" be even more effective?
It could be a little more effective. But there are a few things to consider: if you hit hard the spin doesn't grab as good as when hitting soft. If you hit low you can't really add a lot of spin. And if you don't adjust for deflection the contact point on the rail will change to your disadvantage.
Na jakim suknie gra autor? Czy to Andy 988?
