Quite a long video to just say you glued in a thread together BB. If the glue doesn’t hold I’d recomend Vudu glue from easy composites.

Thanks, I've been looking at your site to try and find a solution. TBH Planet X screwed it up originally and I've given up with it and bough a Defy to use as my winter / hills bike. I like to ramble it's more of a musty one experience and I can't be arsed to spend hours editing it gets in the way of coaching and riding.

Oh that reminds me, Thank you. I managed to work out what Bottom brakes I needed for the defy so I could use a really old Carbon Power2Max power meter. I've never named to work out why it didn't fit as all the forums said it should work in a standard Push fit Shimano Hollowtec BB. But it didn't it was too tight and I had to "adjust" the plastic inserts to make it work. Anyway it should have been the FSA Mega Exo 24mm Pushfit. Fits perfect now.

If you’re willing to spend the money, get a Hambini bottom bracket

I did open a lot of cash on a CNC ceramic bottom bracket. but what ever I do it's not going to get away from the BB hole in the frame is egg shaped and the shell moves.

Buy a real bike made of steel, rather than a toy bike made of plastic

lol, I was waiting for a steel is real, I started my racing career in an Elswick Stag with Reynolds 531. Lovely bike! though I also remember a lot of bikes (and I mean a lot) had stress fractures so it wasn’t as people remember the good old days of steel.
