- Take a peek at this little beachfront gem we found on Siquijor Island. Only 600 peso which is about $10 usd. Has blazing fast wifi and the ocean to calm you to sleep. There is a lot to do on Siquijor island, Central Visayas region, Philippines.

It's a beautiful, cozy bungalow. Do they offer any other options, perhaps one with a kitchen?
There are two units. Both share an outdoor covered kitchen with gas and water.
It's all I would ever need. No a/c or hot water necessary. Just tell the critters and skeeters to stay away.😂🏝️
Thanks for the slow and smooth camera handling which allows for the viewer to really capture the scenery. What a deal! I could stay there for a couple of nights to enjoy the simplicity while at the same time cooling my pockets down and planning my next jaunt. Unfortunately 😢 my wife would not feel comfortable in those accommodations like I would.

Not on this side of the island around here will you be able to snorkel out to a reef.
There is indeed a couple of reef sanctuaries nearby.

very interesting. BTW it's not a "condo" which is typically a self-contained dwelling with a kitchen and technically would have its own land title and be part of a strata plan corporation. one would expect a 'condo' to be a more substantial home. maybe it could be called a 'casita'

Just curious, what were the daytime high temperatures like in a room with a corrugated metal roof and no A/C?
about 95 degrees or more
temp can be decieving. Right on the ovean there is a strong breeze all day and night. So, it helps. A/C is available for these units just have to ask to upgrade

Less than usual amount of dogs considering it’s on the beach. There is a big discount for monthly rate, I was told 10k

You can sleep on the beach 🏖️ It’s a wonderful experience.
That's p18K/month for what's basically just a bedroom with a bathroom with no hot water, no aircon, no kitchen, no living room. The only advantages are that it is on the beach and that the wifi is good.
The price is intended for short term stay. The unit rented for 10k monthly, however since this video the owner has both received a lot of interest and has also remodeled. Thanks for your interest!

You will have to boots on the ground for this one.
These prices have now doubled, however they have upgraded each room greatly. They both have A/C and one has a ref. Even the outside porches have been upgraded and this place is well worth the money with great hosts!...

No, you find it by walking down the street and seeing a sign or know someone in the area that is aware of it.
I didn't hear any dogs or roosters. I don't think I'd be able to sleep there. Otherwise, perfect.
The neighbor has a boat that fires up in the morning to go fishing, that was my only noise complaint.
The kind of place that motivates you to take a new woman every night right there and watch the waves splash the shore together......
The only better thing I can think of is to get one for the night and one for the day.
And maybe not watch the waves all the time....... maybe............
You know, the first time I rented this place the power went out (as often happens on Siquior island) and my lady and I had a great time Chillen on the water enjoying the breeze to keep cool. If you’ve ever been to siquior, at night when the lights go out you can see the Milky Way galaxy, it’s that dark out there. Thanks for stopping by!

This is on siqujor island. Ormoc is on Leyte

I was in Patong a year ago. 50 meters from the beach. 2 bedroom condo with 3 air-conditioning units. Modern kitchen and a water heater in the restroom. It was 600 US dollars for one month. Sad that the Philippines charges so much for dumps.

Roosters are a national treasure here in the Philippines. I was in the 31st floor next to IT park in Cebu and you can still hear the roosters outside. Just part of the package 🤣

Luckily I got on the beach for 950 night, small private place.
Also anything advertised on the net from BS Airbnb to Agoda etc, = low end value with hi price tags

Maybe 30 minutes trike ride from the main pier where the ferry drops you off.
undoubtedly nice location, good thing wifi, but in conclusion for 1 month you pay 9000 pesos, for a small apartment, nice, but not great
They monthly rent was 10k php when I was there. It has since been renovated according to some other viewers.
