Here is another Netflix show that has taken my breath away. I had to make something about it. Everything in the show from production to acting is top notch. I highly recommend it if you have not seen it.

"The Crown" is such an amazing show. The symmetry in many shots, the music, the actors who are cast perfectly. Every episode tells a new and compelling story. My only nit-pick is how Philip changed from being the odd one out in the family in the first two seasons to becoming the biggest monarchist in the third season. Still great though.
People often become more conservative with age.
I don't dislike Matt Smith, but Menzies' Philip was the best imo
I love this show, it's very well made, but way too ideal. The royal family isn't this lovely and pure in everything, way out of proportion. Especially Winston.
In fact, Philip once visited the private school my brother attended as it was one of the best on the country. My brother had a government grant to attend. Philip was racist to him right to his face in front of everyone and nothing happened about it.

Olivia Colman is such an underrated actress and all because she is british. If she was doing more hollywood based movies she would have won several oscars already.

I am a huge admirer of the Royals. I devour every book and documentary I can find. This show is amazing! Some of the speeches reflecting on the monarchy are spine tingling. Churchill’s speech at HRH’s accession, Queen Mary’s breakdown in the importance of the monarchy among others. Great production and casts!

Think is so good, it's not overly dramatic, it is realistically dramatic and although it kinda teases us on what really goes behind the curtains, it still respects and gives dignity to the institution.

@@mscott3918 well.. isn't that the point of tv shows and entertainment in general?? historical facts are always exaggerated and purposely added some fiction in the entertainment industry, just to make the story more interesting and less boring. if you want actual history, go watch a documentary.
