Even though I find the series interesting, it is pretty clear that most people saying long live the Queen,wonderful person etc. is British or a 1st world citizen. I am sorry, but most developing and 3rd world countries don't know her as a good person, and for good reason.For me, a Turkish person, she is a symbol of Britain, a country that for many years only cared about it is citizens in the main continent, and saw the rest of the world and rest of their citizens as expendable.They didn't care if their "citizens" in Africa lived or died, because they were only workers or slaves to them not actual citizens, and you can see this by the way protests throughout Elizabeth's monarch which happened there was aggressively taken care of, hundreds if not thousands dead, for fighting against unfair conditions etc.My country was about to be occupied by Britain, there were also other countries but the country that would most benefit from this would be them.I know what happened at their colonial lands,because my ancestors went through it, and we were very close to losing our freedom like them.Taking control of the city or cities, making local people 2nd class citizens, finding reasons to punish them out of nowhere, expecting them to bow to their every need and want because "we are British, we are the ones in power and you are the occupied".İf it wasn't for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, I would be talking Greek with my mom right now, and would be an Orthodox Christian, assimilated very very much.(my home city was invaded by Greeks, but after a short time they realized they wouldn't be able to control the city alone, as the resistance was stronger than they expected so they asked for support from Britain, which was easy for Britain because they already had many soldiers in Istanbul for the occupation, and they didn't want to lose İzmir, a major port and city)So, to sum up, before writing pleasantry after pleasantry for the British monarchy, keep in mind that, they caused the death of hundreds if not millions,and most of these people were innocent people just wanting to live free and not be 2nd class expendable citizens to Britain, they didn't fight for more territory even though they had many territories like Britain(friendly reminder that also no colony of theirs is fully stripped of the colonial past, ın India English is still a very prevalent language used in daily life, when culturally normally their mother tongue isn't English), they fought for their own country.
The Queen held this dynasty together. She put up with alot and all she asked was to be grateful to be priviledge. She's is right. Its a game of thrones
