With the many key german scientists remaining in Germany I belive they would have won the space race in a heart beat. They play a crucial role in the development of the US space program and NASA
@@Lieutenant_panzer131 Yes but Slovenia had been historically under Austrian influence and control for centuries, I think Slovenia would be heavily associated with Austria and therefor Germany will wish to add them. But I see why, if they choose to strictly draw the borders on German lines then it may not include Slovenia. But if Germany annexed Czechia, then they would have annexed Slovenia.
@@farmonxqc9370 Theres a difference there. When Czechia was annexed by Germany around half the population were ethnically german, or atleast spoke the language. From the limited knowledge I have, barely anyone in Slovenia actually spoke German, same as basically the entire Austrian Empire, only Austria and sudenten czechia actually spoke german, everywhere else was hungarian or their own balkan language.
@@MarpyPlarpy Yes but remember, the Austrian Empire was called Austria for a reason. Because it was a German dominated empire, it wasn't a nation for the non Austrians. Slovenia had deep cultural ties with Austria, and had been under Austrian/German rule for centuries (Austrian Empire, Holy Roman Empire), had some linguistic influence from the German language and shared the same Catholic religion as high Germans. Due to linguistic, historical, cultural and religious reasons I think it is valid for Germany to seek annexation of Slovenia if they unified with Austria. Like how the Nazi's did (I don't support them). As well as, if Italy doesn't have the entire Slovenian coast, then Slovenia could also act as a gateway for German presence in the Mediterranean
Also Slovenia has never properly been independent in this regard unlike Bohemia, and their population was very insignificant so it’s possible that they just become another sorbia
actually not realatable, most peaple who have "smth. to say" today, wouldnt have a chance on making changes in the politicial field, since it used to be common sense and nationalist thinking these days, but at least a good try
Nice video! But, why not include in territory of Great German Reich: Slovenia, Istrien, Lombardia, Veneto and Dalmatia? Reich will got coasts on the Mediterranean sea and Baltic, and North Sea. Reich is not complete without that territories.
@@ThatEzekielGuy Interesting! That will be close to your last video or will be something new? I got one idea about Germany alternative history and future. In 1941, Germany will not attack USSR and declare war to USA. It will continue the war just with Great Britain on the Middle East. Could you make some version like that? It would be for me very interesting, if you do some video like that. Please, let me know, if you are interested. Because, maybe, I can give you some ideas about that. Bye and thank you for your answer.
Yeah in general, first them signing a peace treaty with Russia after only minor success which gives them all of the septemberprogramm while the uk is like yes Germany go on to upset the balance of power after they ANNEXED all of Austria and them then getting the ww2 borders (1941) is extremely uncharacteristic for every party named

They were speaking half slovenian half german in 19 century
People had German names
Johan, wilhelm.....
Correction: their culture was influenced by southern German cultures

I'd like to see alternate history of Germany in which that country is partitioned forever between Denmark, Poland, France and Netherlands.
