Bow hunting Western NY 2023 (big buck down) November 1st - The Rut is Ramping up. hunted a buck bed

bow hunting deer on my 15acres in western NY and killed a giant buck. I waited till he showed up on trail cam after having him on camera this summer and last November. hunted him 2 days, killed him on my 2nd sit at 12 yrds

I use to hunt the public land in warsaw. Theres some big deer there. This one I shot in southern Genesee county a mile from the 8g/9h line.

Yes, there will still be some chasing. We are in lockdown mode right now, so Bucks will be searching again by next weekend

I use a traditional stand but am thinking of going to a sadlle. If you're looking to buy one, I would suggest a saddle. Light weight, and you can't ever fall cause you're always strapped in

Im guessing they will be back onto food by then. The movement should be good cause they will be hungry from not eating during the rut
