Today was another hunt into NY Public and been hunting buck few times. I'm close to this buck but he keeps out smarting me. I will continue to go after him.

Looks like you have wet weather like we have been getting in December in mid michigan. You can't even get out to your hunting spot. Especially when you are an old man. Wettest I've seen it in almost 60yrs of deer hunting.
Next time you venture the New York you might want to check the laws and regulations because you're supposed to be wearing Hunter orange somewhere on you anytime you have a firearm in your hands

Bud , I gotta tell ya . First put a vortex scope on that in line . Secondly , stop wasting time looking around as you were doing especially since you have to get up in a tree with a mile walk . Research a sling you can use yet have access to the online . Lastly get a good bino and chest case .

Yes it has been nasty this winter round here for sure. Happy hunting n ty for comment.
Thats what our winters are now. Ice and water. Deer numbers are in rapid decline.
What unit ? I'm in 5A and I hunt 4F a couple weeks each year as well.
