Quick tip for anyone else doing this (myself included…) the factory seal joins along the side of the sunroof, not the back or front. Back or front will likely cause it to bend and pop off over time. Apparently the sunroof seal isn’t meant to be 100% water tight (hence the rain channels).
I was driving back from a meet and all hell of a storm broke out... Heavy rain and surprise surprise the sunroof seal gave up 😭 I've ordered a new one it's on the way but am I scared to do it lol fair play for the video I'll have it playing in the ground as I'm shouting some words and throwing tools around the place 😂👍
About 4.24 mins into your video. Are those half moon bolts supposed to be really tight or be just tight akd (loose) enough so that they can swing down when the roof is opened? I can not get the roof to go up high enough in the rear where those half moons are at either. The sunroof is a few mm to low on back? Thanks for any advice..
Hi there, thanks for your video. on minute 3:35, where your Finger is pointing, there is a small roll. What is this? on my roof there is only one on the left side, the other one is missing. and the one left is loose..... is it important? Thanks
I'm getting rubbing on sunroof it is not dropping completely when I open it. Also when I try to close it it gets stuck and must be forced HARD w handle to close. The white plastic pieces are catching on something.. Any chance you have any idea what would cause this?
Excellent video covering every possible issue of adjustment
Just finished my sunroof 👍 great video.
Good info here

Thats the roller for the rear lift of the sunroof, should have one each side 👍
@@GreyGooseRestorations Thanks. its strange coz its working normal open and close, even one is not there....
@@xscape1972 ones probably strong enough to allow it to work
I installed a new one too but the water still enters in the vechicul. Passes the rubber for some reason!
If it does get in it should be directed down the drain tubes
@@GreyGooseRestorations thanks! I will check that option. Water was Pouring on my head when I was driving!

If the white plastic parts are catching then the front adjusters need to be adjusted a bit to it clears the lip on the runners
