- Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

Welcome to another video at Haulover Inlet. Don't forget to subscribe if you're a regular viewer, that makes all the difference for us. If you're new, we hope to see more of you around here
I think one of the FEW boats that can just bulldoze there way through the swells at Haulover. Are the Viking boats. The way there wide bows are shaped and just the sheer weight and diesel power of there engines. I haven't seen one yet that struggles through there. They truly are open ocean vessels. That's not saying if the ocean wants you bad enough it will have you. Because it will no matter what size boat you have.
I’m always voting for the ocean .
One of the greatest Chiropractors to ever live at 5:15, cruising on the “Be F1rst” machine!! And he’s one of the very few that truly understands the respect that’s required to be on a body of water like this and wears his life jacket, including his passengers.
One of the greatest pseudoscientific Quacks to ever go to fake medical school!
For new viewers and or non-subscribers...THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST "HAUL-OVER INLET" CHANNEL & I think the original...If not the original was one of the first dedicating time, investing in the equipment and taking the time to edit and provide us the best parts from what was likely a 9-10 hour day....Then will have to spend another 4-6 hours reviewing, editing, and creating these vids...They aren't just taking an hour of drone footage, going home, downloading then uploading to You-Tube...SHARE SO WE CAN HELP GET THEM OVER 1M SUBSCRIBERS THIS SUMMER...
Wow, I don't have words to thank you for your comment and recognition of the Boat Zone team. Not all viewers realize the hard effort of filming under the Florida sun or the humid weather and rain for almost 10 hours a day, and then compiling the best and offering it in our videos with information about boats/engines and often history. I deeply appreciate it and hope you subscribe and keep coming to see us. Thank you very much
Those Midnight Express boats are just beautiful.
11:02 That's what being content looks like.🤘
HAHA , true !
The center Outboard on the Regal lake boat was putting on show, a wonderful one too....
I never thought I would subscribe to a boating channel but after watching one video and seeing how amazing and prestine the footage is, I’m hooked. I love the water but I’m scared to death to be out on it. Videos like these allow me to do that. Thanks.
13:08 Ferretti Yachts - wow, that thing is beautiful!
There's a whole lot of boat payments running through that inlet!
BRAVO.. & Thank you..👍👍✌
Love the lines of the Formula @11:02
Cool Video, Here in New Zealand you never see open bow boats, It would be a suicidal option in our waters😂
A pontoon/tritoon that knows how to drive. Go fast and keep the nose trimmed up. Pontoons/tritoons can actually handle some really rough water and harsh conditions if you know how to drive.
Can't sink them.
I would love to see a compilation of boats under 20 feet.
9:45 Havn't seen that before, looks crazy...
That's what you call a "HOOD SCOOP" folks with that wave on that coastguard boat.
haha the coast guard stuffed it so hard😂😂😂
Those were some really nice boats at 3:15. OMG
best floaters in the video
The green Midnight express showing everyone how its done
the MTI catamarans look too dope!
Very enjoyable. Thank you.
our pleasure
Javelin and Scout are pretty craft
Now thats a Hugh Jarss for sure.
1:27 Lime Midngiht Express With Triple Mercurys Is A Beast
8:03 So the Freeman has a bow thruster on only one side? Hmm, I never thought about that on a catamaran style hull.
Thrust boils down to Mass x Velocity. As long as it is moving water in the right direction, it's working. There's plenty of space around the hulls, so the other hull isn't impeding the flow.
get those pictures while you're young ladies 🤣
Green midnight express sounds like it hit the rev limiter
boats full of daring
The ships are so attractive
The Dutch boat looks like something you might push a garbage scow with.
you can tell some of these captains never been in the ocean before
When I see an open hatch in front of the skipper at Haulover I despair of American pleasure boaters.
Can you buy those coast guard boats or the marine corps of engineers boats?
Not sure Nortech is up to midnight express standards
@3:00 that from the Adams family?
That ahhhhzzz needs a zip code!
Friend of mine said “I’m not taking my dime piece out in that”.
That sunny isles police tryin to get some csmera time almost ran over the tipped jet ski and its rider.
1:36 Old Baja
Plenty of floatation on board.
Man, where does the money come from!
Those Midnight Express boats are all show. If you watch the videos closely, when they hit the water hard, everything shakes on them. The towers swing back and forth like they will rip right off! I am not sold on those boats. They are lookers, but not built for the grind.
Hey did you guys see heavy d Sparks out there?
At what point, when boats enter the Haulover, are they required to slow down??? I watch your videos and it seems many of the boats are coming in fast...without ever slowing down 🤔
Pretty sure some of the footage is sped up.
The 70 + ft full displacement boats seemed to be bored with the challenge
By the way, SERIOUS QUESTION...WHY would someone choose to have 5 x 450R outboards unless they race??? Are they going to ever benefit from having 5 vs 3 or 4?...There is something called the point of diminishing returns unless the people that have those obviously are very wealthy so adding an additional $150K is no big deal and screams "I have the Biggest...Check Book out here"... I literally do not get it...
ps. That boat @2:05 was extremely close, just one more over the bow or side and that boat would have taken a dive or rolled...Do you guys think so???
WHY just have 5 outboards? Because the 6th did not fit!
eventually, drag overcomes thrust.
Sorry but the stupid VCR machine here got stuck on pause 3 seconds in so I'll have to come back for the rest another time. Seems like a cute flick though can't wait to finish it later.
The US coast guard boat looks like the poor cousin.
What I don't get is why these captains let people sit in their bows like that when going through these waves !!?!!
Maybe either the Captains are just sadistic or maybe the people on the bows don’t expect what is waiting for them 😂😂😂😂
whole lotta peeps I don't want anything to do with.
I did not see one person wearing a vest. These stupid people at money drive their boats like idiots. Goes to say money doesn’t make you smart. It just makes you arrogant.
You missed Dr. Tory at 5:15 in his red Cigarette! All 3 of them are vested! But you’re right, otherwise most just don’t understand the respect the eater requires.
So very easy to tell the idiots that should never step abourd a boat .
At minute 3. Great bodies ruined with tats…no thank you.
Way to many tattoos!
Yeah she gross 😂
The lady with the body art looks really bad.
What a shame that some women have to mess up a beautiful body
With ink.
Coast Guard 🇺🇸 wasn't doing much better..😂.... tattoo girl RUINED her beautiful body 😢
biggum biggy .
Woman in the skimpy bathing floss was so stressed by that boat ride she had to have that thong removed surgically. And tatooed thighs seem like a good idea until skin above the knee migrates to ankles.
On the brighter side, she wiped well before hitting the waves.
