Born to Bishop M.J. Pace and Bettie Ann Pace in Atlanta, Georgia, Pace was raised in a small community called Poole Creek, Pace first emerged during the mid-1970s, performing solo and later alongside her siblings in the group The Anointed Pace Sisters (Duranice, Phyllis, June, Melonda, Dejuaii, Leslie, Latrice, and Lydia).
In 2003, Pace authored an autobiography entitled For My Good But For His Glory in which she discussed a wide range of topics, including the death of her first-born daughter, Xenia who died of a heart attack. Pace was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame[3] in 2007. She was to be at the official presentation ceremony with numerous other guests to be formally inducted, but fell ill and was unable to attend. In 2009, LaShun was nominated for Urban Performer of the Year in the Visionary Awards. Winners to be announced live during the 2009 Christian Music Hall of Fame Awards Show[4] on November 14, 2009.

Thank God, diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006, no time to dwell on it, immediately in surgery, and Glory be to God, same thing contained in one area, and they got it all....Don't Tell me what God won't do.....Almost 14 years later, and I'm still here and Safe in His Arms!.....Thank you Lord for Your Healing Power...Nobody can do me like Jesus🙏🙏

Wow so bless listening to this sister it just touches me as I am going through a lot with my mom passing on July 2020 and my dad 2017. Is one thing after another. I feel so disappointed and discourage and I was always joyful and praying a lot. I am losing it. I need help.
You just take it one day at a time. That is what he wants you to do. Be of good courage and lean not unto your own understanding but it is his well and his way. You hold on to Jesus, and don't let go! I can tell you this because I know how it feels to lose someone and everything but in the end, Jesus is what we are going to need and have to get us through these last and evil days. Be encourage and be bless most of all stay safe. Time heals all wombs and his burdens are light and his yolk is easy. I love you and take care of yourself.
