January 2016 was in a coma 5 days in ICU. Family was told I would not survive and if I did I would be brain dead, not able to talk or walk. I was sitting, thinking , I need to hear the word with some real praise and worship. And I found myself here. Listening to this voice I remembered seeing this beautiful spirit busting through a door, singing and making me feel like I was a part of her family. Her voice touched a part of my soul that I didn’t know I had. She spoke to me and reminded me that I am here for a reason. She was speaking life back into my body when I felt like I couldn’t take another breathe. When I didn’t think I could take one more step. She pushed me and told me be grateful.. told me to go to God because he would never fail me. He would never let me go. He would always be there for me. I live with those words every day. Never saw the Steve interview. Happened upon this just now and I'm riveted!! I have been ministering in song for the Lord (and only for the Lord) for 20 years. I had a stroke at my office on 12/5/19 and my singing voice is gone. God has miraculously healed almost all of the weakness on the left side...my hand was useless and I'm typing this message. My left leg was weak and I had to have help to walk, but without any therapy I am already walking almost normally now. But the voice...my voice has not returned. God meant for me to hear this testimony to remind me that when He frees me from this infirmity that His healing will be complete and I will sing His praises stronger, more beautifully than ever before. January 2016 was in a coma 5 days in ICU. Family was told I would not survive and if I did I would be brain dead, not able to talk or walk. It’s July 2020 and I’m here doing both, walking and talking all glory to the only true and living GOD!!! I’m reminded now by this great testimony though life hasn’t been easy since to ENDURE. Same here. Saw the short video with her and Steve Harvey and was forced to find out more because I was hearing about her for the first time. I am so blessed by her. Listening to this voice I remembered seeing this beautiful spirit busting through a door, singing and making me feel like I was a part of her family. Never saw the Steve interview. Happened upon this just now and I'm riveted!! I have been ministering in song for the Lord (and only for the Lord) for 20 years. I had a stroke at my office on 12/5/19 and my singing voice is gone. God has miraculously healed almost all of the weakness on the left side...my hand was useless and I'm typing this message. My left leg was weak and I had to have help to walk, but without any therapy I am already walking almost normally now. But the voice...my voice has not returned. God meant for me to hear this testimony to remind me that when He frees me from this infirmity that His healing will be complete and I will sing His praises stronger, more beautifully than ever before.
