16:45 this was such a creative worldbuilding idea and it was executed really well. Also, this chapter more than once gave me heavy Bloodbourne and Dark Souls vibes. Especially that section when they went for the border of the abandoned village to contact the underworld and Seele said "the beast...hungry for moonlight?" 🧐
It's fun to see how the "Herrscher of Death" (Dark Seele aka Veliona) and Herrscher of YATTA/Scam/Sentience became friends.. Weird friendship, but funny..

I know a lot of people didn't like this arc but I loved it. And your summary made me appreciate it even more. Yes it has some problems but there are so many great scenes in that arc. Might even replay it after chapter 42 drops. Keep up the good work.
to be fair, Kiana (k-423) never met her mother, so it can be understood that she didnt recognize Mistelm, and yeah I know that Sirin gave her visions of the past, but we cant be sure that Kiana remembers clearly the visions the same as we cant remember our dreams.
no, there wasn't any virtual reality device in that room, it was Sirin illusions and I already spoke about these. You need to play the last stage of ch6 and make sure that you don't skip what Fuhua says to Kiana next time.@@8bitdee
omg a recap. I skipped the story of this since I rushed for the rewards which I still was unable to get. Now I want a summary and this is basically what I needed
I genuinely enjoyed the entire Salt Snow Holy City story really much. SPOILER All the characters dynamic are on point (especially Kira x Misteln and Misteln x PROMETHEUS), the dialogues are top notch as always, paced nicely, love how they worked together, Vita story revelation was interesting, "evil" Vita was hot af, and the boss batlle with Vita was almost as epic as Kevin boss battle. But of course, there are always cry babies complaining about there's no Kiana, or they say it's filler, or too much dialogues, confusing story etc. it's funny, whenever people don't understand the story, their first instinct is to blame the story writing instead of asking themselves their reading comprehension 😂
I'll probably get flammed to all hell but I agree with you. This Arc was absolutely on point and didn't need any of the Wonder Trio. Truthfully for me I found the story and character dynamics far more compelling than the Moon's Origin and Finality. The stakes were just so tangible and Vita / Vi was an enemy I was genuinely terrified of. Also yes that boss fight was lit like a christmas tree.
I know I am not alone in saying this but IMO this is the best story arc in game. Much love to you, you make all the video with a lot of effort and quality and you are the one true goat in the HI3 Community.
From how much people were saying that "honkai is bad now", this arc actually surprised me. I don't think it is the best because Elysium Everlasting exists, but this one is actually great.
I do agree with you, EE was a really good arc, but the almighty herrscher of sentience was not present. So as senti's personal secretary I am obliged to not like EE as much as this arc. @@joaomoreno307

Hope u will keep up the summary. Cuz it's very helpful with both efficient and time for us. Not having to go through hours of story and sometimes still not getting what they r talking about cuz to be honest HI3 story dialogue most of the time go the round about ways which tends to be confusing when they r just explaining the same thing but took 1 hour back and forth to explain just that one thing.

Only recently discovered your channel but I love your vids. It really makes me happy to see someone super invested in Honkai lore and create all these vids for explaining all that happens in this game. I honestly really loved these chapters. Senti and Veliona's friendship was really funny and enjoyable throughout the chapters (I laughed way too hard at Senti's fan club saying *"LONG LIVE THE HERRSCHER OF SENTENCE!"* BTW 😆), and the story itself was very interesting and great with lots of new lore. Loved the attention Seele finally got and the growth the two of them received during 1.5. I know their are SOME people who are just against these chapters JUST because Kiana isn't the main focus and calls them filler arcs, but I honestly really enjoyed them. *It's great seeing some of the more underappreciated characters getting their arcs.* *Keep up the amazing work!* 🔥

I don't know if it's cause the change of main characters or the change in main writer, but I really could not bother to read the story, so I ended up skipping it and will watch your video to know what's going on, first time I do this idk what changed, probably Shaonji being promoted and focusing more in HSR rn.
What are you spewing about? Shaoji has always been the narrative designs of Honkai series, and still is, nobody got promoted. Based on his official place in Mihoyo, he should always take part with the narrative in every honkai story, and narrative designer =/= writers, two different jobs. And there are multiple of narrative designers or writers, not one person. He just somehow did the promotion for star rail penacony, doesn't mean he didn't with the prior stories, and doesn't mean he's the only one that doing it. And what hsr focus? You mean that train wreck of a cheap thrill that was part 1 of penacony? Firefly became best friend forever in 5 minutes, dead in the next hour, MC cried for 10 seconds, and then moved on as if nothing happened. That is if she was dead, might be another fake out which isn't any better than cheap thrill. Then MC suddenly defended acheron for zero good reason from aventurine suspicion, even though they just met. Basically, the story doesn't have respect for logical development, it only goes for the cheap thrill, because they know the players have attention span of a monkey, and reading comprehension issue. They don't want an elaborate, logical story development, because it'd need them to read a lot of dialogues and interaction for hours. They only want instant excitement which is exactly what the dev gave.
