Some Surprisingly Disturbing Ace Ventura: Pet Detective Cut Scenes - 10 Days Of Halloween 2022

Welcome to the 1st day of the 10 Days Of Halloween. Today we'll be looking at the 1994 classic comedy Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. But what some may not know is that several more R-rated scenes were shot, but cut before the theatrical release. According to the director on the film's DVD commentary, some of the remaining scenes were considered "too dark" in contrast with the tone of the rest of the film. In this video we will be going through the reinserted TV version scenes as well as the other lost scenes which I have obtained production photos and descriptions for.

I'm not a fan of the first AV film (much prefer When Nature Calls). But I did get a laugh at the extended Cannibal Corpse scene and the Stupid Fish gag, those should have been kept in the film.
