Hello and welcome to day 2 of the 10 days of Halloween. Today we'll be looking at the 1991 classic horror Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare. This film is very split between Nightmare On Elm Street fans. Most people familiar with my channel will know of the Workprint and TV version of the film that includes several scenes not shown on the home media releases. Though a German DVD and laserdisc by Laser Paradise was released many years ago including some of these cut scenes, though only with a dubbed German audio track. But what some people may not know is that several more scenes were shot, but cut before the theatrical release and not included in any of the previously mentioned versions. In this video we will be going through the added TV version, workprint and German DVD scenes. We'll also look at the other lost scenes which I have obtained production photos and descriptions for.
Great video. I do wish the deleted scenes give Maggie a bit more character than what we got in the theatrical cut. Rachel Talalay is still going strong today, having just directed one of the 60th Anniversary specials of Doctor Who next month.
Some theses deleted/changed scenes are pretty good gotta say.
