Wow, its a lot larger than i imagined and a solid looking beast! With those great tracks included in the kit i am definitely going to get this to build. Thanks mate, great video and result 👍
Great build on the Char B1 Jason! I have seen this kit (or later releases) on my shopping trips to my local hobby shop, but have never considered building it, but after watching you build this vehicle, I won’t pass it by next time. It looks like a lot of fun, with the bonus of the Tamiya ease of assembly. Look forward to seeing the paint scheme. Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺!
Awesome build video, sir!!!!! I built the French version when it first came out, but never finished it - just got to place the tracks on. Think the Somua and Renault R35 kits came out around same time frame so built those same time I was building this kit. Yep - just got to place the tracks on the Somua kit. The other kit was the only French tank have completed. Now I got to try and remember where I placed those kits so can actually - maybe - finish them!!
I am working on this kit right now. It was difficult to attach the wheels without glueing them. Is it still possible to paint the tracks seperately? I like to airbrush my tracks in a dark brownish iron colour.
Hi Jason, thst is a excellent build, the French certainly had some strange looking tanks, well they still had tha WWI look, looking forward to the painting update, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia, Les
I was just looking at the French version of this yesterday on the Michigan toy soldiers' website. It looks like an interesting project for the future. Thank you.
Love it! Got this in the stash and waiting for a time to build it. Watching with interest. Actually I've got the French one. I'd imagine the build is very very similar though.
despite the effort I recognize, it is a really terrible video. despite being offered in HD, the first few minutes are blurry. the rest of the footage is too close up, with continuous movement of the subject that disturbs the view. also excessive is the continuous commentary. footage and editing definitely needs improvement.

This kit is also still on my order list. Massive French tank. Nice build up, looking forward to the paint job, Jason 💥👍💥
Wonderful build and video. Still Tamiyas best kit in my opinion.
Japanese engineering is vastly superior 👍🇯🇵
Hey Jason - what a brilliant looking subject matter, great build - looking forward to the paint job, cheers Liam
Thanks Liam!

For those interested, Beute is actually pronounced 'Boyta'

Great video 👍
Very nice, not too complex.
If I'm not mistaken, the German version needs a different top dome with a spit hatch type.
Not all German tanks had the split hatch modification. The version he's building still had the old French cupola.
@@HerrGausF Thanks didnt know that
I got one too, Vercingetorix a french one from may 1940
👍👍👍
Request - could you do a german or russina "winter" paing job / weathering in the near future, please. I would greatly appricaite it :-)
Your audio is a good 30 seconds out of sync by the 4 minute mark.
Nice spot, I think it is just that section, I missed it being out but it comes back in line around 5mins! I May re-upload if it’s an issue
@@ChampionScaleModellingNo need. It’s only once that it happens.
Nice vid👍👍👍

This video helped me on things I was uncerten about with this build. There is nothing to complain about some small trifle.
