Hi there, thank you for sharing your knowledge. I have a 2000 ford transit 2.5 turbo diesel i have trouble about check engine lights on when it gets warm, i have replaced the coolant temperature sensor as it appears to be the reason because check engine lights does not appear when coolant temperature sensor is disconnected. Thanks.

When my bike gets hot, the fan turns on when I hit the start button and goes off when release it. Do you know why?
My fan works only when I unplug the coolant temperature sensor. So, I bought the new sensor and after changed it the engine light change to on and show me the code p0118. I tested the connector with multimeter took the register -14.42 volts with my car off, when I turn on my car register -12.67 volts. Do you believe my connector has a problem or harness?
That scheme is applicable for all cars and 90 C default also ?
i assume ur ect is ecm controlled this is non ecm/ecu controlled procedure
Hello, my 07 nissan maxima second speed radiator fan only working when my water tank is empty,relay still ok, i replaced new coolant temperature still not working on normal ride and the water is boiling in the tank,what should i check/do next?
sorry bro i think your car has a module that runs the speed of the radiator fan its like a resistor type module not too sure ..check the module resistor somewhere i wish you were here around vancouver thats a really good issue of a car to diagnose

I have a VW caddy van and the coolant fan it's not turning on. The coolant sensor it's new,the rely has been changed ,all fuse are working. I dont know what s the problem with it.
then focus on the radiator fan u can check ur rad fan by directly putting 12v and ground to check if ue fan will turn goodluck
Were did i connect the fan connection? Is in 87a or in upper 87 connector? Which one of this two?
it depends what sensor u had is it normally open or normally close .i had few videos of how this system works watch it 2 to 3 times i guarantee u.. u will understand how ur sensor and relay work together

What if the positive wire on the Temp sensor gives 3 volts to earth and 8 volts to positive terminal ??? wire is perfect checked, disconnect ECU no resistance at all to positive battery terminal , put another ECU out of running car same problem , peugeot 207 ..car hard to start but when warm runs fine no engine light ???
thats a little bit complicated we need to know how much is ur bias voltage or ref voltage what is the design is it pull up or pull down design..

The temp sensor plug my car came with is a 4 wire plug. The only temp sensor replacements is a 2 wire. I’m wondering how to wire the new 2 wire plug in place of the old 4 wire plug so I can plug into the new temperature sensor

I'm lost. Why do you have 2 negative poles on the fan sensor
some sensor had only 1 wire and the sensor itself is ground but for this videos i make it 2 wire for easy understanding

Ang gulo ng explanation mo. Panu mag engage ung solenoid ng relay kung wala signal galing sa thermoswitch. At pag sinabi mag engage ang relay, meaning mag close ung circuit kasi NOP Ang relay.
nakaengage lagi ung solenoid kc contineous ang negative power mo galing sa thermoswitch so pag nag engage ung solenoid itutulak ng 87positve power ung connection nya sa 87a ung 87a naman bakante putol eh ung radiator mo nakaconnect sa 87 so hindi iikot ung rad fan mo kc ung power nasa 87a until ung thermoswitch mo mapuputol at ung relay magdes engage so babalik ung 87a na live positve power sa 87 at ung 87 mo nakaconnect direct sa rad fan mo and then walla iikot na sya na radiator fan mo
