said it elsewhere but will say it here too: insane run. this game is going to get pushed infinitely further than devil daggers ever did. it's a perfect inversion of a game that can become an endless slog into something that can only get shorter and shorter. anybody that sees this and says "that's it?" is fundamentally misunderstanding the game. this is a game you put hundreds of hours into only to clear it in a minute. that's the whole draw. the grind has been hyper-distilled and it's beautiful.
idk about this one, maybe when sorath inevitably releases HD v2 but idk about this one
I really want to see how far this can get pushed and surely it will be fun to see it going on but... Pushed *infinitely* further than DD... That doesn't make sense, one of the main differences is HD *is* finite lol

@@gabrielrabelo6982 It's the reason people are still setting new world records on Super Mario 64 26 years after it came out. Refining a finite task is more interesting than grinding an infinite task
@@dadiscoverychannel this "refining" is also overwhelmingly grinding. As I said, I'm also very interested in seeing how the WR evolves but being pushed infinitely further than DD seems a bit overstatement as of now :o

The game was slightly comprehensible up to that point, and then I have no idea what you're looking at

Where is the thing? Is it the moving circle around the center? Is it getting closer?

that's the boss, a void that sucks you in unless you shoot it and move away
How mush faster could we possibly get? The run seems to end with that boss way too fast. I can’t help but feel like the best score is capped too low but it is still brand new so I guess we’ll see.
There's a lot of room for improvement. I think we will see 400 runs at some point
@@NoHitRuns I’m sure about that but how much improvement is there in the long run with the runs being so finite. Don’t get me wrong I’m loving the game at the moment but having one easy final boss after a couple of minutes of gameplay seems underwhelming.
@@peytonharpley8808 the boss isn't easy at all. It's quite nerve racking to get to the boss with a good split. A single mistake or misaim is your death, and its even harder if you plan to hyper optimize it like m4tt does. He 6 rails the boss, I do a safer strat where I 4 rail, 1 shotgun phase, then last rail. During the boss you need to be dashing back or you'll just die, and dashing can screw up your aim.
@@NoHitRuns maybe some kind of looping mode would be sick like if you shoot at the birds for example you'll go for a new round but with random spawns

Havent played hyper demon as much as I have devil daggers but I swear to god the sound design here in comparison to devil daggers turns my brain into mush, seriously hope whoever is handling it over there is getting their money's worth because this is a masterclass

@@NoHitRuns I'd love to see a break down of every little thing at an Explain Like I'm 5 level. Even tips for just getting started. Suggestions for when to stay on the ground, and when to jump up and bounce around. Everything.

The game for those that felt Devil Daggers didn't inject your eyeballs with enough LSD and Ketamine
I racked up over 1000 hours of Devil Daggers and only got to 464s...... This is even HARDER.... I managed to get like a score of 50 and I have no idea what was happening in No Hit's WR run here. We need a detailed guide! :p
Like 300 hours of devil daggers and i got 570s, but this: 9 hours in 2 days and just at 30s

Hey quick question, around 40 seconds in you collect the powerup and suddenly you have a whole bunch of gem lasers. How do you do that? Just hold RMB while picking it up?
