Am i the only one who hates these cheap mega screen interiors?
There's nothing cheap about those screens. The ones on my desktop, which are on par with those, cost around €2500 total.
@@null_geodesic what a dumb, naive and uneducated response. The screen would be there anyways (mercedes w213 interior for example), so whats cheaper in production: Buttons and screen or just screen? A WQHD screen (the resolution in the mercedes is worse) the size of the center screen doesnt cost the manufacturer 50€ a piece. A lot less then buttons and a proper dashboard (and the display the car has anyways). And unless youre using 3 HD screens ranging from 10 to 17" (that btw even buying as a private person shouldnt even set you back 250€) youre also just blatantly lying to make your point sound more reasonable, which btw is a sign of lesser intelectual capability. You can feel free to prove me wrong by making a realistic costreport and show it to me :)

Agree, they’re awful and these cars filled with screens age horribly. All the craftsmanship of actually building nice interiors is gone

Curiosity: why a landscape oriented center screen here and portrait oriented in all other Merc models?
The new EQ models have landscape oriented screens, on both the super screens and the smaller ones. The base screen on the E class is also landscape oriented.
@@pacmanc8103 Yes indeed, still I don't understand the asimmetry, I would have done them all in the same way (portrait, in my preference), not with EQB-based with different orientation, it's weird eheh
@@minomarazzini Typically screens do not have a portrait orientation. Take a minute and think of all the screens that are oriented in landscape: movie theater screens, television screens, computer screens, gaming screens, laptop screens, car instrument panel screens, etc., etc., etc. The only screens that aren’t are phones and tablets. It is a step into a world that offers more visual opportunities. By the way, the asymmetry exists in vehicles with landscape electronic instrument panels (all of them - I wonder why😛) and tablet style infotainment screens. That’s actually what is weird. When was the last time you saw a portrait factory navigation system? Eheh

Mostly a prestige. If you are a CEO and drive e class, people can think you are stupid.
@@kamertonaudiophileplayer847 Most people see the different not between a E or S class. They see a expensive car but people that know what for car a E or S class is know it. If you are a CEO, you naturally drive an S class. But people such as a businessman or businesswoman usually drive an E class.
@@Angelo-ARL-95 Simply I like big cars, I feel more confident and comfortable in them. Did you ask yourself why SUV so popular in US? Simply people feel more protected in them, although actuality is a different.

New 5 series looks terrible the rear looks like a common Toyota Camry and that oversized nose looks ridiculous it’s all out of proportion and the 5’s interior looks like it’s trying to keep up with Benz the new 7 just voted the ugliest luxury car too

I hate that, design is awful, too round everywhere, the older E-class from 2013 to 2016 was much better designed. Interior looks cheap and the large screens are just a nightmare from start to finish. I will never buy one of these.
