    What a lovely boat, and hats off to you Nathan for your usual professional quality video, just out of interest did you fly or drive, as the ferry from North Shields to Norway has long gone of course, which was a big loss.

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  Місяць тому +1

      It was a cracker of a boat, I'd quite like to swap mine for one now. I flew from Edinburgh to Tromso, the camp is 20 minutes from Tromso so they picked us up. I hear they're starting that route back up again with a brand new ferry planned for 2026. Fingers crossed it happens!

    thts intresting watching u reel back wards when fish are hitting mate instead of putting bail arm over and over umm very good i will be trying tht next boat trip

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  Місяць тому +1

      I've done it for years, seems to work well. I know you can control the sink rate by taking the bail arm off and feathering the line but I find this works well, especially if you;re using heavy lures

    by the look and sounds of it you both had a good day, did you have long periods of not catching? what was your biggest cod of the day?

    • @SlippyLimpets
      @SlippyLimpets  Місяць тому

      We did have a great time, but yes, there were long periods without fish, especially at the end of the day. They seemed just to switch off. I didn't weight my biggest but estimate it at about 15lb, Chris' biggest was 20l and the biggest of the day
