Love this project. I will not be doing it to a dresser but have chosen something else this will look really good on.
The colour is really soft and would consider this also for my project.

Susan McFee thanks so much
Love it! Where did you get the plant and planter? I’m looking for something similar for our guest room!
What a great hack!
Karama thanks babe
do you think that also works on high-gloss surfaces, so sticking? I would like to try that on the Hemnes and another cupboard. Looks sooo good ✨
Awesome!!!
Thanks so very much
this is really good
Julicia Evans thank you gal!!! What a lovely name you have 😘
Wow. Amazing. You should should post this in the Australia IKEA hack page. They would love this
Is that on Facebook?
amazzzzingnggggg
What kind of paint did you use for the foam?
Hello! How much of paint did you use to cover the entire dresser?
This is awesome!! Does hot glue make it resistant too?!
And what kind of paint did you use!
Good idea to paint the dresser the same as the wall
Thank you! I just thought it would help the dresser blend in a bit better and give the illusion of more space in a tiny room
Cleaver, looks very nice.
Oh thank you so much babe
Also, if this is “foam”, Will this get ruined during a move??? Or is it somewhat durable!? 🙃😉
How did you put the hardware?
OMG. THIS IS EVERYTHING. AM I MAKING A TRIP TO IKEA NOW???
Haha yassss do it!!
53 dowels...Are they sold in packs or did you have to purchase them separately?
Is Anyone in the comments from Australia and know where we can get foam dowels here? I’ve never seen them at spotlight or Bunnings!
I actually have one of those dressers from ikea that was popular quite a few years ago. The one without knobs, 4 drawers, etc. I think this would literally transform that dresser. Perhaps I’ll use wood dowels...
Yessss wood dowels would be great! I just can be trusted with a power saw lol
Wow great idea! Love your channel. Did you have to sand or prime the IKEA hemnes dresser prior to painting it ? Thanks a ton ♥️
Monica Aww thanks! We didn’t sand just primed with BIN shellac primer
So geogeous ! How many meter of half round dowel do we need ? Thanks so much 💜
I grabbed approximately 53 of the 24" foam dowels
Wow I absolutely love what you did to the dresser! Looks stunning. Are the knobs screwed on, or glued on?
Nazia Khan screwed on through the foam through the original holes
Not my style (but love the color)... very creative idea though!!!! Looks fabulous too!
Aww thanks hun
I absolutely love this!!! what is the wear and tear on then foam dowels? i want to recreate this but will be using it in my actual bedroom so i know ill be pulling the drawers a lot! will it be able to handle daily usage?
I just sold the dresser two years later in mint condition!!!
Welcome back?! Are we going to be seeing more of you on this platform, bc I really hope so..
Jessica as i feel up to it! But yep the plan is to try to keep posting videos here when i can!
Love this. Did you have to sand the dresser before applying paint?
Maritza Padilla i did not i just used BIN shellac primer
Gorgeous 😍 I’m sooo doing it ,, about the dowels is it soft foam or wood ??
Lavender Eleven i used foam dowels from Michaels craft store because I’m not handy with power tools but you can also use wood
Hi! This is so cute. Have you had any issues with the paint cracking on the foam? I worry that having a squishy material on the front would compromise the integrity of the paint.
Hey babe! No issues! The paint i used (Clare paint brand) worked so well and i have had zero cracking!
If I am not painting the dresser (keeping it white) would I still need to paint the foam dowels?
I would or else they’ll just look like foam
So so cute!!! what diameter do the dowels have?
So i used the 30mm ones
So pretty! Where is the hardware from?
Maya Hernandez just grabbed a set from HomeGoods nothing too fancy
are they the 15 or 30 mm dowels?? looks amazing 😻
They’re the 30mm ones!
hi, how do you go about cutting the dowels? tx!
I just used a regular steak knife gaha
Heyyy! I love it !!!!!
Trying this soon.
For the 24” half round craft foam. Did you get the 15 mm or the 30 mm ???
30mm is what i used gal
Did you do it @Carolina?
Did you spray paint the knobs gold or buy some gold knobs? If so what size ? Thanks
You can do either, but i found these 1.5 knobs at HomeGoods. You just want to get a longer screw
Hi, Do you use 15mm or 30mm Half Round Foam Dowels? Tell me please.
Hi Maria! I used the 30mm dowels
How many dowels did you purchase to complete the whole dresser? looking to do this as my DIY project this weekend.
I’m sorry I can’t recall exactly because i did this project over a year ago but i think it was somewhere in the 30’a
Do you have the link for your knobs?
They were just some cheap Amazon ones nothing fancy
I am so in love with this!!! So creative! Did you use the 15mm or 30mm dowels?
We used the 30mm dowels! Thanks so much hun
Did you have to sand the dresser first? :)
Nope just used BIN enamel primer first
Where are the knobs from??
Sarah Franklin i just grabbed some from HomeGoods
where is the art from?!?!?!
It’s all from Desenio
How is it holding?
Mint condition 🙌🏼
Is that foam or board?
Foam 💕
Where i can hey the foam?
Sorry buy *
Hey babe the link is in the description these are from Michaels 😘😘😘
Did you sand your dresser before painting??
I didn’t sand but i used BIN enamel primer and painted with Clare brand Paint in the color Wing It
@@PeonyandHoney thanks so much! It’s soo cute you did so good!
@@acialynn thank you love 💕
400$ wow.. kinda expensive
Jennie Smythe i hear ya, but a nice long dresser is typically about $700-$800 in a store
Simultan ously Listen to you and the Sound.
Not healthy, so noise IS to loud
Should I buy about 63 foams? It is almost the same price than the dresser 🫣
I heard very good opinions about the Woodglut plans.
