Mer de ka, instead of Mer ke da. Merdeka is the Malay word for independence. But good job, interesting to see an American's perspective on the city, I've been away for long enough that KL is now so much more different that what I remembered\
Thanks for sharing a lovely & informative video. One thing, i dont think klcc park never close at night. Its not a gated park.. i.e we can enter the park at anytime. glad you tried all the food available … 😊
Best affordable city in Asia? Probably Yes But the Downside, not only of KL, entire Malasya, get the living Visa program , actual applying policy are almost impossible to reach..the requests for it are just insane difficult , even with big savings
You need to know that Malaysia is the richest country in Southeast Asia.. and did you know... the tallest tower in the world is in Malaysia... Singapore is just a small country... what do you expect from a small country, none of the tower buildings are as tall as in our Malaysia
Man, you should really work on how to filming. Interesting content, but there is some constant motion and literally get like sea seek in few minutes. The picture should be more stable to be enjoyable.
I’m willing to overlook the numerous incorrect pronunciations of the names of places and streets and buildings and food. But could you at least pronounce the word “Malay” correctly?
It’s Pronounced Kuala Lum-por, not Lum-pur! 😂 I was just there and aside from the modern skyscrapers, interesting food and Batu Caves, I wasn’t that impressed with the city.

You make quite a number of mistakes. You are also confused by things and therefore you give viewers here wrong information. Wouldn't it be a good idea for you to ask an English speaking local, or someone else who knows the place, to check your dialog before you post it ?
@@IslandHopperTV Sorry, but there are too many things requiring correction: It's not generally about specific places or attractions you visit, but your details about the town itself and the transport system.

In this video or our travel guide?
FYI it’s Kuala Lum-por… not Kuala Lum-perr 💀

@@o.c.g.m9426 it drives me crazy. If you’re gonna have a travel UA-cam channel, at the very least pronounce the locations properly!

Pronnounce malay properly
wth you only show indian and chines vibes here .. we have many mosque also la..
come on man.. make content properly
Let's be honest y'all don't have a proper culture, even your language being borrowed from sankrit and Arabic
You make quite a number of mistakes. You are also confused by things and therefore you give viewers here wrong information. Wouldn't it be a good idea for you to ask an English speaking local, or someone else who knows the place, to check your dialog before you post it ?
