Introducing the EPIPHANY friction hitch, an original hitch by Knotorious! It is tied using an inverted Spanish bowline plus wraps! This video was filmed this past summer, so I was sweating a lot! Haha I can be reached privately at knotorious.info@gmail.com!
Thank you! I quite like the name and the hitch myself! It's the only friction hitch ever to incorporate a Spanish bowline! Yes, it self-tends quite nicely due to the bulk of the Spanish bowline below the coil! Just pull up on the eyes! Thanks for commenting! Hugs, friend!
@@paulhunsicker4271 Always a great question when it comes to hitches! Yes, it self tends beautifully because it glides across the front end of the Spanish bowline when you pull up on the eyes/loops!
Thanks, Ryan! Happy to see you in the comments section! Glad you like the hitch. Been sitting on this video for awhile. Wanted to do sufficient testing. How are you doing?
@@SUF-py4ix You can use it however you want. It could work for both systems. Just be sure to use a rope wrench for SRS/SRT. Make sure that coil is tight or it could stretch too much. Thanks for commenting. Lemme know if you have further questions.

Just need a micro pulley on the carabineer for slack tending.
You sir are a mad scientist with knots!
Thank you! I like to think I'm pretty creative when it comes to knotting! I appreciate the compliment! 🙂
Beautiful hitch and beautiful name! Is it self tending? Hugs my brother
