    It pulls well.whats top speed ?

      About 55 mph with the current setup. With the standard gearing, the original drop bars and MBV fairing it was nearer to 65 mph. But in standard form there is a big gap between 4th and 5th gears and on anything but a perfectly flat road and a still day it will drop out of the powerband when changing from 4th to 5th. The solution is a one tooth smaller 5th gear which transforms the riding experience, the compromise being a slight loss of top speed. The chap who bought the bike is a 'man size man' so I also went down from a 14 to a 13 tooth front sprocket. Its all very well chasing the top speed but on this bike it was all about making it nice to ride.

      @@peteramberley9952 the standard RS engine is about 6-7hp. This one is probably nearer to 8 or 9hp. Most of the quick Dutch Kreidlers are running big bore kits, a complete 18hp 80cc kit starts at around €1750.
