Easily Michael Mann’s greatest film after Heat, and hugely underrated. Pretty much a perfectly crafted stylish thriller and I agree it sets up a Netflix series perfectly.

If I could sum up this song in two words: Emotional Gravity. Such a beautiful song to what is a an amazing scene with very few words spoken. Just the actions and the faces of the people getting ready to save a friend/spouse from what is certain death if not reached in time. Micheal Mann nailed this movie. We need a sequel.
Miami Vice sits there in my DVD collection right next to tonnes of shit films from the last decade and i keep coming back to it. Yes its "more sophisticated" and well acted, directed, edited but its not the best by far and yet its one of those films that keeps pulling me back
