    I've been a mechanic for over 30 years. Whether it's a Suzuki or a Bugatti, one thing you have to remember, it's all just nuts and bolts. Someone put it together, I can take it apart. Once you lose that fear or feeling of intimidation, you can literally work on anything. Personally, I've never had the opportunity to work on a Bugatti. I have worked on Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini. I don't feel I would be mortified to work on a Bugatti. This one is a little different than normal, considering it's history. That being said, I wish you all the luck in refurbishing this one. The most notorious Bugatti in the world. Everyone is watching this.

      @NBSV1 5 місяців тому

      With some stuff they like to require special tools and equipment. Can make it expensive. And, add in the cost of parts being expensive. Although, it’s funny that often if you can research it they like to use “normal” car parts and just mark them way up because it’s a fancy car.

    Whoever want to buy this car, keep in mind that they are willing to pay 100k for a Supersport front bumper, but they wouldn't take down the engine. As mentioned in part 1, the guy who crushed it, let it run to destroy the engine. Water got into the engine bearings. Those are seel, not aluminium. This will be a museum car, not a car to go around in. Just a museum car with some history behind. Unfortunately

    I am looking at him and he wants te refresh the car, going further taking parts of and telling to redo and refinish this and that… he does things while he doesn’t know it really needs something. Like injectors cleaning, normally you do this when an engine is not running right or you get faults. With this you do not want to just do it. His head is just shuffling problems in that he thinks are there, but he really cannot know this for sure. That’s why he will be only putting money in it.
    Also, the way this car crashed does not seem to me that the engine got any water in it. The engine looks really fine.
    I am starting to feel that he will not get much money out of it. Because it will not be factory original anymore.
    These cars are purchased and owned by very rich people that will stick their nose high into the air knowing the history of this one which will result in buyers that have way less money available for the deal.

    There’s so many parts and so much work to get this bug back on the road. It gives me anxiety thinking about it.👻

    Why is the color different from when it was before tho? Did it undergo a repaint previously?

    I don't understand the choosing of purple (worst color ever) when you have every color under the rainbow to choose from, classy ones too.. but I'm here for it. Loving the rebuild so far. SO glad this is happening colors aside which is all personal preference!

    It’s pretty crazy working on a car like that, you gotta be super careful with anything on it, a bolt is probably worth 100$ 😅
