- Hi, this video shows you how to connect a Xbox One S controller to a computer via Bluetooth. My PC doesn't have Bluetooth built into it so I had to use a USB Bluetooth adapter which are really cheap and easy to setup and work very well.

Hi Vince! Does the P2 output of the controller work on bluetooth? If not, is it different with the windows adapter?
Hi, from memory on the windows adapter you can have 8 controllers connected or 4 controllers and 4 headsets or 2 controller and 2 stereo headsets but on Bluetooth I believe you can only have one controller connected. I thought I read that 2 controllers will be possible soon (or it might be already enabled) but I only have the one Bluetooth controller so I can't test it.

Hey, i am pretty sure that if you want to use it with bluetooth you can rely on your built in unit. I use my dualshock 4 both with the built in bluetooth (notebook) and with a bt dongle (desktop). Haven't tried the xbox controller yet but it might work similarly, as bluetooth protocol is the same on all units (considering that it is the same revision, of course)

I have the exact same setup as yours, except for the slightly different bluetooth adapter, and it just wont find my controller, any ideas?

do you have to use Xbox Accessories app to use the Xbox One S controller on a windows 10 pc? i have no way of downloading it? the windows app store on my computer is broken and errors out all the time, its a massive headache to deal with. i heard that the Xbox Accessories app is required for updating the xbox one controllers and to have all the games supported properly. i have been looking for clarification on this? i fear this is true making my new xbox one s controller useless.

thank you for the heads up man, much appreciated. been meaning to get a Bluetooth adapter for the PC just been using the USB cord for now. unfortunately i was at a buddys house a weeks ago using my xbox one s controller on his xbox one s and it updated it, and hopefully now with the new update i didn't lose Bluetooth there either.

well my computer can do that but the thing is im having trouble with my ipad cant connect only i can connect in my computer.

Suprah I bought brand new today it does not make so much nose. The triggers are very silent. abxy make slightly more noise compared to 360 controller though.

Can anyone help me. I go to connect it, it says connected but the light won't stop flashing. And it's definitely not a problem with my controller because it connects to my laptop fine (the desktop has windows 10 and has Bluetooth)
