DBK: 6 minutes 37 seconds to sharp.
I use diamond stones to sharpen my tools (chisels and planes) because they’re incredibly hard and flat and don’t wear quickly 👌🏼
Got myself the cheapest wet stones (Bear Moo 3000-8000 grit). Been using them for 3 years now for both my kitchen and utility knives. There's a huge curve in them since I don't really bother flattening them but I just follow the curve. For me 50$ stones do the job, no need to spend upward of 200$ to get em' nice and sharp
Every time there is a DBK sharpening video i click as fast I can
I have a cheap stone and all my blades are shaving sharp, I have just ordered a CC4 but that is mainly for taking camping. Cheap stone and a strop (I use autosol metal polish on it) works great together
Hahaha, the “ik ben Mikkie” out of nowhere really caught me off guard😆😆 great video as usual!
Great vids guys,
I'm really pleased with this! It works like a charm
Just wanted to say thank you for your videos. Your reviews, advice and explanations on sharpening have been extremely helpful. I purchased the Benchmade Puukko knife and love it, now I'm looking at some higher quality knives you have recommended. You have been helping this old dog out a lot. Thanks.
You should do a review on KING STONES!!
Thanks for the creativity, novelty and finally a so usefull video. You guys are tracking back to the core of your channel sucess
Another great video review guys. Much appreciated. I just started to learn to sharpen in the past year . Hope to be as good as you both someday..lol. right now I've been using the worksharp field self guided sharpening system. Which does ok for my needs though now after seeing this video will definitely have to get the diamond sharpening set off your website. Have a wonderful weekend guys.
If I didn't remember it's Friday here, I'd have missed your update. What happened? It's not shown in my subscription.
Hi, knife people ! :)
"Otherwise we wouldn't have a good clickbait video" 😆
Hey would you guys look into doing a review on the back river puukko?
I would love to see a comparison between your waterstones and diamond sharping stones from DMT! Great video!
Best hard core good edge retention knife for under 150???
It’s not the same speed but just for a few more minutes u can save lots of money
what should i get if i dont want to spend a couple hundred dollars on stones but I don't want the cheap ones either. anyone know of good stones that fall somewhere in between these 2
