I was thinking of joining the Catholic church for many reasons, but I was put of by some of Pope Francis' statements. But after watching this and similar videos I realise that the Church is much bigger than any particular Pope
The theology stands the test of time. The Church itself has been under subversive attack since the beginning by God's Chosen People who see Christians as subhuman. There's an agenda. Guess who? Our governments are infiltrated and controlled. Guess hoo? Our politicians will say they are allies. J sounds like h in spanish. If you share this truth on certain platforms, comments are deleted. You're not allowed to criticize them. Guess hew? Christians that support it are doing juuujitsu to justify them and they are going to hell. They own the media and craft false narratives. They hate the truth. Which is precisely why they don't want people aware, and have intentionally guided most Christians into docile lambs, industrious cattle, for the slaughter. Their holy book says everyone but them are subhuman slaves to serve their global agendas. So yes, everything you're seeing with the popes who are subverted are doing exactly what these Chosen People want to divide and conquer.
Well, there were many "bad" popes. We don't follow a pope because we take a liking in him. That would literally elevate a pope to a position by his own merit as a mortal person and that would kind of elevate a mere human being to God status. Rather a pope has its office, not because he is specially worthy by himself to lead office, but rather that this office is given by Christ himself who enables everything. A pope is called to be the vicar of Christ on earth. He is the leader of Jesus Christ ministry on earth since Jesus ascended to heaven and gave Peter the keys to bind and loose. That being said, a pope is led by God in his office, but is still a sinful man with all kinds of possible vices. What protects the church from error is not the intellect of a pope, but rather God's leading hand. Read John 11:59-51. High priest Keiphas was prophesying that it was better for one man to die than the whole nation. Apostle John explains that Keiphas did so because of his position as a high priest, even though we was an enemy of Christ. That same principle follows through with the papacy. Many popes weren't that good and moral, yet God's hand made them lead the church in a way that prevented them from institutionalizing an error with their authority.
The vicar of Christ says that there are many paths to God. Papal infallibility claims are what made me never want to become Catholic. I am protestant but I have way more love for the orthodox and could actually see converting. But at least with the orthodox you don't get tripped up with the whole pope aspect as well as priests can be married. That seems like it solves a bunch of problems. But I do not in anyway think Catholics are not Christian . So I agree with a lot of the teachings ,but absolutely not all of them. both orthodox and Catholics I have yet to understand there ideas on the Eucharist. But on the flip side I despise and I mean despise most protestant churches. Especially when it comes to speaking in tounges,health and wealth prosperity gospel . There is nothing worse than the whole holy laughter and rolling around on the floor . Also TV evangelists. I am more of a Mike winger type Christian as well as the main man cliff.
I hope you do. Experiencing the sacraments is just so amazing, especially the Eucharist. It’s so worth it! So much joy and peace. We pray for the Pope, but his last day is coming , he’s getting old. Better days ahead! Eventually we will have a holy pope again.

Hey, awesome to see Ralph Martin! You know I've been trying to get my dad to see the truth about the lgbtq movement so he can understand how much one of my siblings needs help. He wouldn't listen to me so I kept praying God would send someone to preach to him. Or to me if I was in the wrong. Low and behold he gets sent to a different state by his church so he can be one of the prayer ministers for a group called encountering christ. You, Ralph, were one of the guest speakers and talked about how the movement was predatory. Sadly he didn't listen to you either and complained. Then he said you radicalized me. I don't think that's true at all. Please pray for him. He's starting to acctually get really deep into his faith this is just one of his hang ups. Which I understand. I used to be non binary and gave that up when I became Catholic so I understand how rough it is to realign yourself to Gods truth. especially when there's family who will automatically see it as radical or bigitoted. Even though I'm neither of those things. My sibling sadly went through with removing their breasts shortly after that. Please pray for her too. (To be fair to my dad, tho my sister is now an adult. Even though she's on his insurance, I'm not sure if he could have stopped her. But I don't know what the outcome would have been if he had more serious talks with her and stood firm. )

When it comes to Parishes, vote with your feet and with your tithe. I know a large family that drives 75 miles each Sunday because the Catholic Parish they go to is on fire both for the Kerygma and for the Sacraments.

I grew up a Pentecostal. Later I became a Catholic. It’s amazing that there are Catholic Pentecostals. A little scary too. I did it in HS and I would run from that now. I could speak in tongues right now if I wanted to. All the evidence I’ve seen though is that it’s just babble made up spontaneously by the brain. People in other religions do it too. The Christian version seems traceable directly to the beginning of the Pentecostal movement. If it’s real, then why isn’t it mainstream in the Church? Why does one have to dig to find anything that can be construed as it historically in the Church? When I went through RCIA, one of the ladies found out about my background she told me about the charismatic group in the parish. I thanked her politely for the invite but no way was I going to get mixed up in that again. The conflating of this modern phenomenon with what Paul describes is weak at best.
Currently in OCIA. The Eucharist is what drew me in and the authority of the Church is what helped me with any objections. However Pope Francis has not made it easy justifying the faith to some of my family. For someone so big on evangelism you’d think he would avoid causing stumbling blocks.
The faith and the Church is bigger than any current Pope. I’m a convert as well. But keep in mind that 1/12 of the apostles that Jesus himself picked sold him out to be crucified. And 10 of the other 11 ran. There is a story that I’ve heard. I don’t know if it’s true or just anecdotal. Supposedly the Pope did something that angered Napoleon so Napoleon called in the Archbishop of Paris. Napoleon told him that he was angry and he was going to destroy the Church. The archbishop started laughing and Napoleon demanded to know why. The archbishop said, “My dear emperor, if all these popes and bishops haven’t been able to destroy the Church, what makes you think you can?” God continues to work through human weakness. One might argue that there have been better popes. And there have certainly been much worse popes. But Christ’s original promise to Peter stands. You are the Rock. And upon this Rock I will build my church and not even the gates of hell will prevail against it.
The smiling pope is pleased with those who carry their cross deliberately, intentionally and faithfully. The day of glory is at hand! Convert every soul you can to Jesus Christ. Do so with humility and love. Glorify our Lord who loves you and they who don’t know him! Peace be with you all!
