@@roastpork5437 Well, first is founder Feng said they are planning to create a whole universe of Black Myth, so the next installations will be the same world. I suspect they may continue to use Wukong or Destinated One, like Kratos in GoW, to explore into other Chinese myths.
they will probably make another Black Myth game with another Chinese mythology character in the same universe, and probably make it somewhat connected to Wukong

Even a simple Gacha game like Arknights has an amazing storyline that put any AAA games made in the West to shame. The story event Lone Trail is so good that even the author for Baldurs Gate 3 praised it.

As for the next two titles, someone dig deep enough and found Game Science recently trademarked/name registered two games: Black Myth Jiang Ziya and Black Myth Zhong Kui. (Jiang Ziya is from another Ming Dynasty novel Fengshen Bang, basically a Taoist equivalent of Journey to the West, with a slew of more characters from Celestial Court)
On chapter 4 now, the game is absolutely amazing. There are secret areas and optional side quests and bosses that I missed unless I looked up online. The game is tough and I think it's more soulslike than God of war, I need to git gud, thank god at least you don't lose experience and can respec at any time. It encourages you to keep trying but without too punishing. Great job game science, looking forward to more games in the future like maybe Fengshen Yanyi. As always, the cats are the boss 😂
This is a parody documentary, you see in the end the entire office is closed and put in boxes as to depict the game has failed. However Black Myth Wukong actually met all expectations and even exceeded that. I hope they do a real documentary of the proces how they made the game and the developers behind it, that would be great!

In the end, the game was not completed as scheduled. The company had to switch to the food and beverage industry, unexpectedly finding great success in business.😂

Been aware of the development of this game for a while, nice to see it finally release, and really cool to see it pop off like it has!
