I recently started studying cameras and lenses to film my nephews football games. I've watched SOOOO many videos to help me understand the technical info and its so hard to grasp, but this video is the single most informative video i've come across so far. I finally feel like im learning what I need to be better with the camera. THANK YOU.
This is a great video for some us looking for a 16-35 or people who are starting not only in content creation but any type of photography/vudeography Great guide overall
I have a crop sensor camera and I use the 18-35 f1.8 which is 28-56 and I have a 50f1.4 which is 80. for wide shots, I use my son's DJI pocket 2 which is 20mm. these have been my go-to's for a year now
It's amazing how you guys always seem to compress so much technical information into brief, concise yet simple to understand videos. Looking at any of your videos, one can see a lot of thought and work has been put in each project. Your simplification of complicated projects are genius.
This actually helped me a lot! I’m looking for a good versatile lens for my 90D for just taking around when I am traveling. I’m thinking the 24-70MM is best. Great content ❤❤❤
@@azaynavyyl well currently i'm still at my internship and I will get my first camera in about a month... So still haven't bought one But I think I will get a sigma 18 - 55 aps c lens sinds I'm going to get the Sony A6400 and will make both video's and photo's
Absolutely the best discussion/explanation of lenses i have ever seen. Well Done! Thank you for putting into video and words what is easy to understand and helpful for those of us looking at lenses.
@@MrPaulXavier why is it that, no where on your website there is a way to get in touch with someone?? I have a question for one of your products and yet there is not ONE way of getting in touch with you ANYWHERE. This looks and seems a bit suspicious to me. I have a question regarding the “How To Create, Market & Scale 6-7 Figure Courses In 30 Days” course. Where can I go for this question??
18:10, hi Anthony. i'm using Sony A6600, what bout if i buy the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 for APSC? Is it still in the same range with 24-70mm that u're talking about? Please answer..
@@MrPaulXavier I wrote that barely 2mins into the video and boy did it hold up! Not only did you maintain that extreme production value but also provided information in an outstanding information density while maintaining clarity. That tipped me over so that I decided to get your premium product. Looking forward to it!
I'm buying my first camera and lens combo soon. I'm looking at the Sony ZV-E10 camera and the Sony Alpha 16-55mm F2.8 lens. Because it is a crop sensor camera, does that mean the lens is actually 24-83? Or is that lens made specifically for crop sensored cameras?
What 24-70 lense would you recommend for canon r8? Filming social media content for restaurant/bars (trendy punchy vids and 30sec vids of behind the scenes, chefs cooking, drinks, etc)? Also any other lense to get? Thinking of getting a gimbal too.
What camera and lens zoom was this filmed in? If one was to get the 24-70mm lens, would the bokeh be the same when that lens is zoomed into 35mm as a prime 35mm? Thanks.
So on a aps-c sensor it crops in AND zooms in right? So a 30mm lens on a full frame camera will zoom in on an aps-c camera to 45mm right? So technically you get further zoom on aps-c cameras?
Crop in and zoom are used interchangeably here. When someone says it CROPS IN, they basically mean that the resulting image will look ZOOMED IN. So really one and the same. Either way you are correct. The final image is more zoomed in
I’m looking to purchase a camera and lens for interior remodeling and painting to take before and after pictures with wide lens in low light conditions specially in winter time when it gets dark soon. What setup do you recommend? Thank you very much.
Does this assume full frame and ignores crop sensor impact on focal length perception? I’ve got Canon 700D APS-C camera. This means my 50mm is zoomed in, more like 80mm on a full frame.
I am enjoy the 14 day course, but it doesn't show the process of actually white balancing a CANON camera. Also would be cool to see how to use a boom mike.
@mrpaulxavier Great video m I am new. I wish you told us the lense (mm) you used to film yourself. Idea, make a video for indoor and outdoor video content (like talking head) showing sitting in a couch, chair, desk... So we can see from full view to just waste and up. Again, great video. Well done 👍👍👍👍
Paul, I’m Using a Sony FX 30 to film my fishing videos. My tripod will be stationary, which lens do you recommend if my tripod will be about 5 foot from my fix position in the boat. Thanks for the help.
Hi. Thank you for this awesome video. I am trying to start my UA-cam channel with my son. We are going to be documenting our fishing trips. What lens would you recommend for Sony A74? Sigma 16-28 vs sigma 24-70mm or something else?

I have two use case scenarios, filing my children / family but also I want the capability of filming unboxing/tech reviews. Probably as wide as you can go to make sure it captures the whole scene. Something in the 11-24 range
So if you are doing landscapes, and don't want a blurry background, what do you suggest?
If you’re doing landscapes you don’t want a blurry background. That would cause the landscape to be blurry because it is the background.
