      Wide000 what do you mean? All I hear is music

    • @Wide000
      @Wide000 7 років тому +3

      We both hear the same music then. :) But I was talking about this annoying Spaceship-Dirty-Dance-Microbrain-Gangsta-Disco-Electronic-Rap noise we too often hear in motorcycle videos.

    I remember racing MX in the 70's and you would occasionally here a 4-stroke in a class and marvel how cool that 4-banger sounds and wish there were more of that sound. Now fast forward to 2017 and wish we would have more of that 2-stroke sound. Seems like humans want what's most rare.

    Sounds mean AF! I give it credit at Glen Helen, nothing comes easy at that place on a 125cc 2T and then some. The bike did well! Thanks for getting after it with the best soundtrack ever.

      @BBQ Jerk - You must have never ridden a KX500 or KTM495 as they are easy to ride and fairly mellow even with 60hp+. The CR500 hits hard once you drop kick the gigantic muffler and salt flats gearing but even then you do not rev one out but just play around with the grunt before shifting. Honestly a 250cc 2 stroke will get you into trouble far more often than a 500 does simply due to how aggressive you can ride a 250.

    • @fkhan577
      @fkhan577 7 років тому +1

      That must be true, when you had smaller guys like Ward and Magoo winning races and championships on 500s

    • @SOLDOZER

      Id rather Honda release a 1986 throwback steel framed 500.

    Italian specialty motocross bikes go back to the 70's with Ancillotti, Simonini and SWM. These were similar to the TM and were some of the most powerful 125's at the time (including KTM).

    Awesome vid MXA ! It would be cool if you could compare that bike to the KTM/Husky and the Yamaha !
    Anyway this bike looks and sounds great :D

    You can tell the tracks of today are not 125 two stroke friendly. That bike couldn’t clear any of the bigger jumps on the track. Sounded good.

      ciao, le moto tedesco-austriache suonano molto bene il corno alpino,se le fai guidare a un campione forse, dallo scarico esca qualche nota ma...niente più........ di fatto chi costruisce Le carote austriache ha molti soldi per pagare gli ingaggi ai migliori piloti al mondo,e i media del settore motociclistico.Se leggi un giornale,in ogni pagina trovi un ktm o un bmw che strano

      chris smith agree, in this day and age a good website is your best friend, it’s the basis for all information and researching a product or service, whether it’s KTM, Honda or whoever quite frankly whoever designs these sites really has no idea what we need. It’s pretty simple but somehow they make it difficult, if you padlock your shop door how can I come in and look around, website is the same no different, excepts it’s global, 24hrs and 7days, it’s never sleeps, it’s not even expensive if done right, we don’t need flashy designer BS, just good pictures and good detailed information. It’s not rocket science

    125 2 stroke makes more hp than the 250 4 stroke.

    • @Wide000
      @Wide000 7 років тому +3

      But is slower on a track... nowadays, 250 2t and 250 4t results in similar lap times. The 125 is not there.

    • @corvette_jake7225
      @corvette_jake7225 7 років тому +2

      Wide000 it all depends on the rider. The guy in this video really needs to click up a gear or two

    • @Wide000
      @Wide000 7 років тому +3

      A gear or two higher will just bog the engine. Did you see the long hills? You can't ride it like a 450... Did you ever ride a 125? :)

    • @nathanbellingham9151
      @nathanbellingham9151 7 років тому

      On the hill you have to scream a 125. but yeah he needs to go up gear, he might not get the looks slow comments

    • @corvette_jake7225
      @corvette_jake7225 7 років тому

      Wide000 yeah I ride a yz125 and a yz250. I also ride Glen helen very often. The rider in this video is coming up short on the majority of the jumps that I have no problem clearing to the extensions. This is why I say he needs to click up a gear. Also, the 125 won't bog if he is carrying enough speed and using his clutch right. This guy is revving the piss out of this bike in 3rd gear when he should be in 4th and 5th in the straights

    • @Wide000
      @Wide000 7 років тому +2

      I agree too, even if the rider is obviously very good. Slow by today's standards but the fun factor is at the top.

    • @corvette_jake7225
      @corvette_jake7225 7 років тому +6

      It's slow because of the rider. He needs to click up a gear or two

    • @Wide000
