Self love, for me, was about recognizing myself as an individual. Treating myself like a friend, a person. I used to get caught up in my head and not realize that the way I treat myself is utterly important. I also try to treat myself the way I treat others, with kindness and understanding. I sometimes fall back into my old habits, but I guess it’s just a reminder of my humanity. Great video and love the song in the background, the sound of myself is a masterpiece. My youtube use really varies sometimes because i can become quite disengaged but im constantly drawn back to your videos and each time you speak so much sense. I’m going through a period of change- im a final year university student but im graduating later due to circumstances. I entered a state of extreme stress and panic a few days ago of ‘not knowing what im doing’, feeling behind, feeling very overwhelmed, etc. I came across this video after speaking with my friends and family and pulling myself back from this. Ive recently been adopting a lot of what you speak about in your videos in terms of shifting your perspective (prior to, during and now because of watching your videos) and the way you articulated and unpacked the title of this video resonated so much! Made me laugh at the end when you said you weren’t sure if you were going on a bit much and whether you cooked. YOU CHEFFED! You continue to create Michelin star meals and I, as well as everyone else in these comments, am eating it up! Full stomachs everywhereeee lol
