Glad to see someone mention #9, driving to the port. We're a cheap ($15-21) train ride to Baltimore yet we've met people from DC that fly to Miami to take a cruise, it's unreal.
Oh wow that's so convenient for you guys! Ya I guess it depends on where you want to go, typically the Miami ports have more options and shorter cruise options.
Our friend just became a travel agent and she saved us 1000’s with a group rate for our most recent booking for Odyssey of the Seas for Jan. 2025. On another she upgraded us to balcony for $200 less than inside cabin. I never knew you could find group rates on travel websites. Thanks for the tip. 🎉
Wow that's awesome! Sounds like your friend is a great travel agent. Sometimes it doesn't specifically say it's a group rate you have to compare it with the cruise line website and sorta put it together but it's definitely a great way to save! Thanks for sharing! ☀️🍻😎
One thing to mention about loyality status, MSC matches loyalty status with other cruise lines and some hotels. Me and my wife were about to match our Hilton status, We are now gold on MSC without having to cruise with them.
🙌🏼🫶🏼🥳 woooo first cruise!! Welcome to the cruise community!! So happy you’re enjoying the videos and tips! If you have any questions as you book your trip feel free to message us on instagram! 🥰
Ryan and Kayla, thank you so much for the tips. I am a very new cruiser, and we just got back from the Navigator of the Seas in July, wich my husband and I loved. What a great ship! And since we still had another week off after, we were luck to find the Emerald Princess, that left a day after we got back. Both older ships, but amazing in their own ways. We’ve booked an inside cabin on both, and that saved us a good chunk of money. The very first cruise we’ve booked is the Ovation of the Seas for Alaska, even before the Navigator, and that one I booked 16 months in advance. So I know I saved a lot, comparing the prices right now. We already know we want to sail with Royal and Princess, and start accumulating those points. I am learning with every one of your videos, for sure. And I thank you for that! You too are awesome!!
Wow thank you so much!! Welcome to the cruising family 😊. Hope you had a great time on the Navigator, we love that ship! We stick to the inside cabins too just so we can cruise more often but loved the balcony in Alaska. Good job accumulating those points, Royal Caribbean's drink vouchers really are the best perk offered in our opinion. Glad to hear you're enjoying the videos, we're happy to help! ☀️😎🍻
I would like to mention that you get fantastic deals if you book last minute cruises. I live in Florida so it is not unusual to get cruises for a few hundred dollars for an inside cabin. Also, if you have been on lots of cruises like I have it is sometimes nice to stay on the ship on a port day. I went to Cozumel last December and stayed on board and had a wonderful lunch, drinks, and the pool almost all to myself. I was on the NCL Prima which is their brand new ship. I have been to Cozumel at least 10 times so there is nothing I need or want from that port. You save lots of money by not booking shore excursions.
Yes 💯!! Great tips! I would stay on the ship too if I was on the NCL Prima 😍. Hopefully one day we can move down to Florida and capitalize on the last minute cruise deals or just have the ability to pick up and go. Awesome advice thank you so much for sharing!! 🍻☀️😎
Going on a HAL cruise September 30 for 10 days. Did NOT include any extras when we made the booking. Got an offer we couldn’t refuse: Drink package, wi-fi, $200 cruise excursion credit and 2 nights in a speciality restaurant for $50 per person per day. Sometimes the cruise line promotions are a deal if you wait.
Wow! That sounds like an incredible deal! Way to go 👍 You folks are going to have an amazing time. We definitely need to try Holland America at some point. Thanks for sharing! ☀️🍻😎
Stumbled upon your youtube channel, great video. One thing I can add is, we always have a few cruises prep'd in our heads come black friday through cyber Monday. Fantastic deals. The last one we got, the best price was on cyber Monday. So check prices early and often. that weekend.
Yay! Welcome to the channel, your absolutely right those black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are fantastic. Great tip to continue to check throughout the weekend 🔥 Thanks for sharing!! 😎☀️🍻
Interiors are so quiet and d dark for sleeping. I do the guarantee and have only once in 20 trips had a noisy one. Under the show room. I went the next morning to guest services, very calm snd smiling and told them they moved me no question.
That's great! We had a room once where the A/C was clicking and very loud, we just went to see if they could fix it but they moved us no problem as well. We love how dark and quiet the interiors are as well, normally we just pass right out 🤣
Great video guys! Great tips! #10 is huge! We always lock cruisers into **** ***** when we can! I didn’t want to type it out and give it away so these people can watch your whole thing until the end!
That's incredible, I saw some really inexpensive Europe ones on the pride earlier this year, I couldn't believe the price. I think it was approximately 150-300 for 7-10 day cruises. Thanks for sharing! ☀️🍻😎
We get great Casino rates from Carnival & Princess. Our next cruise in October on the Carnival Celebration and we booked a back to back in an inside cabin and we paid $982.80 US funds for the Cruise, Port Charges & Taxes for both of us for a total of 14 nights. Our airfare from Vancouver BC to Miami BC will end up costing us more than the 14 nights of cruising. Sign up for the loyalty programs and if you go to the Casino then talk with a Casino Host on the first night of the cruise so that they make sure to track all of your play and you will likely get offers for free specialty dining while onboard as well as other deals.
Wow that's an great deal! We've heard of some amazing deals coming from the cruise casinos including drinks on us packages. Awesome info, Thanks for sharing! 🍻😎☀
@ryanandkala that price includes the Cheers package as well and just to purchase the drink package package would have been $1980.75. We did get a great deal and are looking forward to our vacation. We did get to go on the Vloggers Group Cruise earlier this year as well.
My husband and I are always Casino guests on Norwegian Cruise lines and they usually comp us an inside cabin, and occasionally a balcony or suite. We have to pay for the port charges and the drink package but it is super cheap for the cruise. I guess we really do pay for it though if you factor in what we play in the casino.
My wife and I booked an interior room on a 10 day San Francisco to Alaska cruise on Carnival using their "Fun Match" program and my Caesars rewards players card#. The room was $100/person and with that, port taxes, trip insurance, and prepaid gratuities it came out to just over $1100 total. We also got $200 onboard credits, $50 casino free play, & free drinks while playing without having to qualify for them first. The last time I sailed on Carnival or any other cruise ship? 2009. Also a money saving trip I have heard is near the end of your voyage, go to guest services or the specific department that does this and see how much of a discount you can get if you book a future cruise right there and then. The closest drivable port to me is Mobile, AL and the Carnival Spirit just started cruising from there this month. It can't hurt to ask! 😊
@@stevengolden9009 That is a great deal. My husband and I usually get a free inside cabin with Norwegian cruise lines. We have to pay for the port taxes, gratuities, drink package, etc. and that usually comes out to about $ 1,000 for both of us. If we want to upgrade to a balcony we just pay the difference. We just went on a cruise last August from Boston to New England and Canada. It was wonderful. We live in Florida so we do a lot of Caribbean cruises.
Great tips Ryan. We have just booked to go back to Alaska with Royal Caribbean next May (we were there this May) and it only cost 550 per person. We also booked New England/Canada with Royal at the same price, both on inside cabins. This is insanely cheap considering Celebrity and Princess are asking double the price for each. We have to factor in flights from the UK so any savings we can make on the cruise helps with the overall cost. We also have a rule that if we are doing a morning excursion we book 3rd party and if its an afternoon/early evening excursion, we book with the ship in case we are delayed for any reason and the ship has to wait for us. 😊
Thank you so much! Wow those are some great cruises, we really want to do the Canada/New England one as well or perhaps one of the one way sailings down from Quebec. Sounds like you got a really good deal, good job! I like your tip about when to book a 3rd party excursion and when you book with the ship I think that's a smart way to go so thanks for sharing!! 😎🍻☀️

@@ryanandkala As a suggestion, look to the west coast of the US after the Alaska season ends. Some cruise companies move their ships south from Vancouver and Seattle. These cruises are usually 3 or 4 days in length.
Great ideas. I watched even though I’m Diamond on Carnival just to see if I was missing something. I order water bottles to room pre-cruise to carry off ship and use during cruise. I would carry water on but I have yet to find canned water that is not sparkling. If you know of any let me know.
This is a great idea! When we don't have the drink package having the water bottles in the awesome. Hello!! Happy cruising! You mentioned that alcohol bought on the ship would be returned the last day of the cruise. (@4:00) So this will be returned the day BEFORE getting off the ship? The 2 cruises I have been on docked really early in the morning around 7:00am.
