Well we’re gonna analyze their strengths and weaknesses, their powers and abilities, their fighting skill and of course their magic - all of it - to find out who wins in the Battle Arena! Lets do it

MCU Scarlet Witch easily wins this matchup, DCEU Doctor Fate didn’t really have that many feats meanwhile MCU Scarlet Witch took punches from America Chavez, nearly killed Thanos, healed herself extremely quickly from her wounds, and fought dozens of sorcerers. She has way too much hax and feats to really lose.
Comic book Wanda vs Fate is a different story tho……

Dr Fate negates all hexes. The Helm is on a power of its own unaffected by any magic except brute force or strength like that of superman or Thanos or doomsday

MCU stans need to calm down, Dr. Fate is quite literally a God in the DC universe where the power scale is quite different.
Yes she is powerful beyond most, but Nabu is a being beyond most mortal comprehension.
I would tell you to go watch the death battle videos featuring both Dr fate and scarlet witch as they do a great job comparing their skills and abilities

I think Fate's style of fighting is what leads to his downfall. He was too much of a physical magical fighter. I do want to point out however, he could see glimpses of the future so he could use that to his adv. But also with that, just cuz he sees it coming doesn't mean he can do anything about it. I think this would be a very good fight, but Wanda's raw power should eventually beat out Fate's experience and knowledge.
agreed but his power of glimpses of the future is basically useless when he are in battle with SW because SW have probability hex power which does change "reality" or basically like good luck and unlucky. her power could change future which cause Fate cant predict the future because she can change it immediately.
I think his foreseeing power might be skewed when it comes to Wanda, because her Chaos magic and Nexus status basically disturbs the natural flow of order in the universe, so just like how Kang, in the comics, can't predict Wanda's timeline or future, I doubt Dr. Fate can either.

I doubt if she can evaporate something as old as time. Whose original owner is beyond her scope and scale arguably above the source of her powers. If that will even work the helmet will always come back again. If not instantaneous
@@richmanezihuo7214 If she can rip apart Thanos’s armor and sword BEFORE she became the Scarlet Witch I don’t see her having much of a problem destroying the helmet. At the very least she will definitely remove the helmet and send it to another dimension and guard it with a dream walking variant of her and a demon.
@@frankbradley4487 that's all conjecture anyway, since we would never know how much her potential can take her to atm. But from all that's been said and written that helmet is controlled by an elder magic wielder -- a lord of order. I think even if she can send it to another dimension, which can still be argued .. she will find it hard to keep it there because the helmet has a mind of its own. And from comic it has been shown to fly beyond light speed back to the owner. It even achieved "The Velocity of God" that means God speed. So it will definitely comeback instantaneously.
Again, in BA the helmet worked independently and helped Hawkman overpower a six hell demon empowered Sabbac who had just overpowered BA. So it will most likely be her fighting Nabu himself. And if u think Thanos armour and sword is as strong as something that has be around since eons and controlled by a lord of order... Then there is no point for me to argue.

I feel like the comparison was made based off of the characters respective movies, rather than the comic books. I might be wrong, but personally think fate has the upper hand against Wanda at her current state, due to all of his powers in his comic books being left out in the movie black Adam.

I honestly think live action Scarlet witch wins with little to no difficulties. In comics the scarlet witch wins too, she’s a nexus being like franklin Richards she transcend the multiverse and is a focal point of all mystical energies in the multiverse and without her it wouldn’t exist, being the nexus of the main continuity earth 616 she’s going to win in the comics to. She’s performed feats that legion himself said that he could never do that and legion is beyond omega level. When she crossed over to DC her powers were soo powerful she was OP and literally was unstoppable. I’m sorry but I don’t think Dr. Fate could actually beat the scarlet witch, it all depends on the version of Wanda he will win but especially the latest versions of the scarlet witch he wouldn’t win.

The darkhold does not amp you in the MCU, all of that was Wanda. It gave her the knowledge on how to use her magic yes. But all that durability and strength is her.
@jumbo not really. It is a component in certain rituals (ie. Dreamwalking) but is otherwise merely a corrupting influence and a near infinite knowledge source. It presents information to the weilder tailored to their own capabilities. For example, AIDA in Agents of SHIELD reads it in computer language, 1s and 0s, and it teaches her how to construct a digital framework alternate reality, something she could already do as a super-AI, which she could then use to collect inhuman DNA for the creation of am organic body with the associated powers. Darkhold didn't just give her powers, because it couldn't. It told her how to obtain them within hee own capacity however. Same applies on a grander scale with Wanda. Agatha spells it out in Wandavision when she says "your problem isn't power its knowledge." Wanda could always do the stuff we see in MoM, power wise, she just didn't know how as she didn't know how to use magic in a controlled, technical, way. Darkhold study remedied that.
@jumbo tbf she went beyond her Infinity War or Endgame level (where she was beating Thanos 1 v 1) in WandaVision, and that was pre-Darkhold. She was already using mass mind control, teleportation, flight, and large scale reality warping there. She also learns very quickly, and was able to use runes against Agatha after only learning about them five minutes prior.
I somewhat agree the Darkhold amped her, by your definition, but I feel it's important to note that said amp is permanent and not contingent on her continuing to have the Darkhold. She always had the raw power to do the things she was doing in MoM, she merely lacked the knowledge. Now that she has the knowledge she's set and can sustain that on her own power. She will always know the things she's already learned from it, and therefore will not be any weaker without it than she was at her peak with it. Losing the Darkhold does mean she won't gain further knowledge from it, thus limiting her growth more than otherwise, but it doesn't really push her back beyond the heights she'd already reached, if that makes sense.
@jumbo I think we all know she's not really dead... Elizabeth Olsen and Kevin Fiege have both pretty obviously teased at that with comments about the whole "if you don't see a body" thing. Olsen's up for reprising her and Fiege knows Wanda's a reliable cash cow given her popularity. Olsen pretty much verbatim said "no, I don't think she's really gone" in an interview while struggling to contain her grin, lol.
If I had to guess, I'd predict she re-appears in one of the Avengers movies to bail out the rest of them out while they're losing to Kang, deus ex machina style. She's been established as a nexus being with the potential to conquere the multiverse. That makes her a potential rival to Kang, only she gets her potential from magic and he gets his from tech. I imagine they'll have her show up in the middle of a losing battle and cause problems for him as the start of a redemption arc, with her coming out of self-imposed exile to protect the multiverse. Opens the door to more appearances with a "surprise" re-appearance. Like the Captain Marvel intervention in Endgame just with less foreshadowing and more audience investment in the character.

In this state he can effortlessly overpower other lords of Order And Chaos, and Wanda is powered by Chaos magic 🥴... And just a wizard too. Scarlet witch can cast runes blocking his magic. She can also rewrite reality and cast hexes also having the power to completely heal herself. She can also mind control him, dreamwalk and also control entire civilisations. Also can manipulate matter and can absorb power and energy having the power to completely create her own reality with her chaos. Dr fate has lots of power and physical strength and can beat Wanda like 4/10 times but her power is more destructive and she has many advantages against him.

If you read about Dr. fates, comics, he is the strongest being in the universe, he literally destroyed presents which is the God who controls the universe itself
Plus: Dr. Fate has an ace he can always play if things get 'chaotic'. He can summon The Specter. ( I've got a comic where he does just that )
It was actually stated by the director that Dr. Fate could have beaten Sabbac. The only reason why he couldn’t is because he was weakened, when he was using the shield to keep Hawkman, Atom and Cyclone out. Also he was talking to Black Adam as well when he was fighting Sabbac. So in conclusion Dr. Fate could have beaten Sabbac.

Wanda, in the comic book, is more powerful than Dr fate, and in the movies she took on Thanos, twice , once with one hand while trying to save Vision, the other time she destroyed his weapon, and almost ripped him to shreds, he had to call in help.

Dr Fate was a side character in Black Adam with few scenes where as Scarlet witch has number of movies with feats that can challenge gods. The actual Dr Fate is so strong it may take both Dr Strange and Scarlet Witch to take him down. Even then it might be not possible.

you have been making a big mistake in how you explain wanda’s powers. The darkhold doesn’t amp your power or physical abilities, it give you knowledge. She could do everything she did in MOM without the darkhold.

Using Black Adam as a basis for Dr. Fate power is ill advised. The movie was produced by the Rock and other people who know nothing about the comics. Their only goal was to have the Rock be the center of the DCEU. Dr. Fate is so far above Wanda in class, it wouldn’t be a fair match up. Before Wanda could think she’d be defeated. He’d know everything about her, her future, her fears, her weakness, her destiny, even the things she doesn’t know about herself. She’d be defeated in seconds.
Theres no villain or hero that can take down Wonder none in the DCEU

Fate wins. Sw isn’t as fast as fate, Fate has better magic. Fate didn’t rely on those abilities because it wouldn’t work. Black Adam and Sabbac has resistance to those and saying she took a dimensional punch is stretching it by a lot. She very clearly did not. So fate has the strength, speed, and more powerful magic. Sabbac and black adam draw power from gods and demons. Gods and demons exist outside of time and space and beyond the multiverse. And they’re drawing on the power of six of these beings. This is why they were both so powerful and such a big threat. Not to mention Fate can see the future and has precognition, so he’ll know whatever trick she tries to pull.

MCU Scarlet Witch stomps DCEU Doctor Fate. Doctor Fate didn't show much anything impressive in his solo outing and got dominated along with the other members of the Justice Society against Black Adam. Scarlet Witch tore reality a new asshole and even before MOM dominated Thanos and would've crushed him like a tin can before he called in his ship to save him.
And alas we won't get more of Fate. A shame too he was perfectly cast just didn't get more to work with.
