Nice down to earth explanation without "yewing" or other overexcitement. Good stuff!
Thanks for the feedback 👌🏼
Thank you Lance.
Side drifting minus the boat🤙
Amazing!!!
Nice 😊 mate 🤠👌🤙🤙💯
Thanks for the informative vid. Am a fly fisherman but have wanted to give egg rolling a go.
Thanks for the feedback 👍🏼
Hi lance, is egg rolling still effective at this time of year or more so just in winter?
It’s a productive fishing method whenever there is enough flow to drift eggs. Winter is definitely the best time of year but it’s still really effective outside of winter too
Does the egg method work during all times of the open season? Or is it just a spring thing?
It works anytime the canals are flowing. The canals tend to be used to produce power more in autumn through until spring so in summer it’s less likely to be flowing. Winter and early spring is awesome for it though
I subbed to your channel anyone that can fish is my friend where is this in New Zealand ?
Thanks for the support mate! Tekapo in the South Island
must have lost that fish too.
Do you have your sinker line running from your three way swivel longer then you egg line
The line to the drop shot sinker is quite a bit shorter than the line to the hook - about half a metre to the sinker where as the line to the hook is about 1.2 - 1.5 metres
@@theanglerslogbook cheers mate appreciate it
