Yay! The instructions for taking the old shield out and putting in the new one were great!
But can someone PLEASE tell me how to get the glue residue from the "100% UV Protection!" sticker off of the damn visor without messing up the mirroring? It's directly in front of my right eye!

You made it look so easy. I press as hard as I can on that tab and nothing happens

Thank you for sunshade removal and installation video with sense of humor and tech tips. Now I gotta get one of these in Pearl White with inner dark shade and HD amber outer lens..

My shield is fine but the slide broke. Is there a replacement for that?

+Randall Wellman Yes, the slide mechanism does have a replacement. You can call the merchant you purchased from, and they may send you one out.

***** I need one for my Gmax GM54s. Do you know where I can get it? Mine broke recently and I've had to resort to pulling and pushing the lens itself, careful not to push it in too far.

I wrote Gmax and they mailed the replacement to me.

Great Video... Love the sense of humor... I own the Titanium GMax GM67 helmet and love it. I went all out and purchased the optional break light, along with the optional chin bar. I wore the helmet on a summer trip through the Mojave Desert and through a heat zone of 122 degrees, and have to admit that the helmet stayed fairly cool. The liner worked great and did wick back some of the sweat. In all I love the helmet, and now I'm going to purchase the GMAX GM54S. Now this may be a dumb question to ask, But... Does the clear shield outside of the helmet have a UV Sun Ray Blocker built in ? Or can we get one that does ??

Goldwing Road Riders Yes, the Gmax shield should be UV rated

Great! because I sure do need the protection from the suns uv rays. I have used sun block creams, but they sure are messy when your apply them to the face, and what a mess they make when it gets on the cheek pads in the helmet. Glad that the cheek pads and liner are easy to remove and replace in the GMAX Helmet... I will be getting the GM54 helmet in the near future... Thanks guys at Jafrum.com for your help....Safe Rides Always

Well,,,first I liked it but second when I found out how it's being constructed...kinda dislike it now...The helmet function works just fine but it's about how the helmet was built ..the skull's shell's shown standard protection..that's accepted but the jaw flip ...mannn. I got what I paid - it was $83 shipped , a courtesy replacement from the motorcycle shop that they were out of GMAX 68 (which I liked although the jaw shell was built by very filmsy plastic but I would rather than break it than a piece of metal slit through my jaw or throat in crash! see more what I'm talking below)
Let I talk about Jaw cover/flip,,,the jaw flip by itself was constructed by plain plastic and shelled by a metal piece in between - you got the idea right? that metal piece is the primary frame to protect your jaw OR is the only, very first thing it will cut, slit your jaw, your throat in the even you crash/fall jaw flip impact first!
For now, I will keep this for local street and will seek second helmet for freeway riding. My primary, first helmet is Shoei RF1100 and now still wear it for daily commute.
For now, I'm wondering how the heck this helmet was approved by DOT while the jaw cover protection potentially could slit the rider in crash!!!!
