I would like to see a video of the conversations you had with each landscaper. It would be interesting to see how each would put their own vision to one tank.
Idk about everyone else but I'd like to see the footage of them sharing ideas with you. Love the scape, honestly reminds me of a Malaysian style aquascape due to the driftwood.
Those better be white clouds... Tank is looking great, can't wait to see it 6+ months in when it's had plenty of time to establish and grow in. Well done Alex!
Way back in the day I had tropical reef tanks and I always loved the three sided tank!!! I love your design it came out fantastic!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Really glad we are getting to see this tank! Looks fantastic! Would love to see the conversations with the aquascapers too. Looking forward to the next one!
Alex I've been waiting on this forever and I was actually the third view this morning. I was busy and couldn't leave a comment yet!! I remember the live streams with you, talking about this project and you drawing out your plans. I know how special this project was to you! I am a great fan of the aquascapers who helped you, especially Steven!!!🙏 You have definitely achieved what you were dreaming of! Your thoughtfulness on this tank is shining through!! It turned out amazing and the plants are perfect! I so enjoyed your story telling style of how personal this tank is for you! I can't wait till the next time to see the fish you've selected. I hope you have a very blessed and beautiful day my friend, thank you for sharing!🙏💞🌱🐟🌱😍
I actually appreciate the rocks on the wood. Makes it appear as if the tree branch fell and and the root system picked up some rocks with it Great looking tank!
I've been looking forward to this video! Your tank is awesome! I'd like you to post a video when you were talking to the aquascapers about your aquascape! Can't wait to see what fish you picked!
Yay it's here!! Congratulations, it's looking gorgeous. I'd definitely want to see the aquascaping dream team's discussion, to learn about the thought process of pros. And yeah, I was gonna mention the design choice of having those odd rocks on the wood, but even before you explained it was to hold down the wood, it had already grown on me LOL
Hi, just like to say I totally agree with your choice of aquarium stand height, something that is often overlooked is that people don't consider the height to be able to view a tank without bending over to look at it properly , the market share of cabinets and stand are WAAAAY to low often below waist/knee line of most humans. It is also quiet hard to get stands of proper height for proper viewing i find these days unless it is a costly custom made.
Truly beautiful island-style aquarium. Amazing! What about one-side all green plants, and the other-side all red and non-green plants ... for your next future project. :)
It would be great to hear what the professionals would comment and how they made your aquarium how it is today, it would also help other new aquascapers like me trying to figure out how to scape or give us ideas or inspire us to create our own scapes.
That's fantastic. I just bought a 120gal myself. I've been super paranoid of the structural integrity of my floor, since these tanks can weigh a tremendous amount. Is this something you considered for your tank? Did you add any supporting on the floor below the tank?
I was very worried about this actually. I live on the ground floor, but there is still a crawl-space under the building. I made a bunch of calls to figure out the orientation of the cross-beams so i could split the weight across multiple beams.
😍😍😍 AWESOME Scape Alex!!! I Love It!!! You've even moved your furniture to focus on the tank. To me the tank reflects your style, the flow is very relaxing and accents the room nicely. I would say this is more of a moderate lighting theme as shown here. To add more drama, you can add underwater lighting to pop the shadows. Water wisteria is perfect touch too...I actually don't mind the rocks on wewd😄. Thanks Alex...👍🏆😎
Dear Alex, you did a great job and I think you should definitely publish a video of the conversations you had with the 3 scapers. It could be a great lesson for all of us. And I must say the rocks on the wood don't look bad - almost as if a side of a cliff fell down in the water and just landed randomly in the big branches :)
Very nice aquarium. I like it very much. I am also getting a Custom Aquarium tank but only 110 gallons. I am building my own wooden stand which will be a cabinet style in oak, since I have my own wood shop. You might consider somehow camoflaging the under side of the tank to hide the filter. But I like your use of plants and stone and that you got expert advice. Actually it gave me ideas!!! I will be building a South American style with as many SA plants and fish as possible. However I am using local stone and wood. My wood is sycamore root which I was lucky to find locally. Many domestic woods can be used if you can find them: oak, apple, pear, sycamore, alder, and beech.
Would like to see your footage with the scapers. I think 6 blue angelfish would look awesome in there. I have an old 75g 5ft outside that I dump all my wood in. Some of it has been in there over a year. I don't buy any wood, I use fallen dead gumtree branches. I chop them to 4-5 ft lengths and leave them in tank for a minimum 6 months - never had a problem.
Congratulations on your awosome new aquarium. I am a structural engineer. The structural floor is propbabely not designed for this sustained dead load of 1500 lbs. I was wondering whether there is any deformation of the floor. Thanks.
Its a dope tank, but you might get algae problems as its next to the windows. Cant wait to see which fish you add. You might want to consider adding covers on the stand to hide the pipe work. Also like your content. Subed. Can you please tell me the name of the huge plant between the living room windows.
In the early days I was using my old 48” Build My LED light. Unfortunately that company no longer manufactures aquarium lights, but they were great when they were on the market!
call me crazy, call me a mad aquascaper, but i'd love to see a huge school of Tiger Barbs in their. The height of the tank and scape would complement them greatly, as well as their colors contrasting beautifully with the white sand
your conversations with the pros would be really interesting to watch!
Yes I would like to see the conversations as well. :)
Agreed! With be amazing to hear the entire thought process behind a scape!
Beautiful tank my bro many blessings for its future.
The best voice i have ever heard..in any of the UA-cam channel till date.

The tank is absolutely stunning! I can not wait for the update!
Very relaxing video. I’ve subscribed 👍
The composition and layout of such a large tank is amazing. I'm actually going to be upgrading my 20 gallon planted to a 45 gallon pentagon
that scape is beautiful
I actually appreciate the rocks on the wood. Makes it appear as if the tree branch fell and and the root system picked up some rocks with it
Great looking tank!

You Sir
You could be a narrator of an audiobook.
I would love to hear THE LOTR narrated by you. Btw your tank is amazing. Subscribing now.
Love your vids and yes would love to hear some conversation pieces ☺️
Truly beautiful island-style aquarium. Amazing!

Great shots. Are you sure that stand is strong enough? It must weigh hundreds of pounds.
Generally I don't like light coloured substrate, but you've pulled it off incredibly!
Definitely interested in the collab videos with the 3 aquascape artists

There is no deformation of the floor, I am lucky to live in a very overbuilt condo.
Wow
FInally! will you be streaming again soon?
Love it 💕
Too Nice.
hi dude, love the vid, can u tell me where u bought the light from?
We love it

Alex, what light are you using here? I noticed in the other videos you switched to two UNS lights.
In the early days I was using my old 48” Build My LED light. Unfortunately that company no longer manufactures aquarium lights, but they were great when they were on the market!
nice living room...the place for the tank might be a bit too bright...but you will find out in the next weeks
Stunning, like am watching a documentary, that voice lol
call me crazy, call me a mad aquascaper, but i'd love to see a huge school of Tiger Barbs in their. The height of the tank and scape would complement them greatly, as well as their colors contrasting beautifully with the white sand
I think that's a great idea have it that far up, I am 6ft1 and don't like bending over lol. Are you going to cover up the works underneath it though?
Are the convos with the pros posted now
