Rooting for Max, leaning towards Ilia. I watch UFC 300, and I see a declining Gaethje more than a career best Max. I watch UFC Singapore and I see a totally spent Zombie rather than a truly dangerous Holloway. I watch UFC Kansas City and I see Arnold Allen get outhustled by a seasoned vet in his first 5 Round Main Event. When I think of the performance I feel Max Holloway needs to beat Ilia Topuria (who, while being excellent in a few areas, is very flawed in others, and quite hittable) I think I have to go back to 2020/2021, when he fought Volk 2 and Kattar, and was more of a force of nature rather than the crafty, measured fighter he is now. I hope I'm wrong, and Holloway just eats Ilia's shots for breakfast and feeds him head kicks and knees up the middle, but time is undefeated, and the smart pick is the young powerhouse.
I think Chimaev and Topuria is right, but we can only guess, doesn't matter one single bit if we are right or wrong..Topuria needs to counter Holloway well, and his defense has to hold up, and he has to get Holloway's respect early, to make him indecisive..I think Topuria can hurt Max and choke him out..Atleast that's my guess..Rather see a KO, but I hope that the winner wins..
Max got landed on triple digits by Ortega, a guy his fans famously bring up max had to teach how to box mid fight. That’s all I need to pick ilia to whoop his ass
The fw champ fight is a tough one to call. I don't bet, I make my pick for fun banter w/ fam & friends before fight but for this type of matchup as Ilia v Max.. I'd make my 'prediction' after 1st round usually, lol. I'm leaning a little towards Max atm but I have to see how he looks w/ Ilia inside the cage after 1rd to be sure. Max is a worse style matchup for Ilia than Volk was.. while Ilia's style is the kind that Max's style can thrive against if 'Blessed' is able to effectively play by his terms. Volk's switching stance, kickboxing rhythm, dynamic footwork, cardio and ability to make adjustments in real time.. that style of fighting is Max's kryptonite. Ilia is not like Volk.. he has a more definite rhythm because he relies heavy on boxing techniques, conventional not even the tricky Soviet variety albeit paired w/ effective pressure and cagecraft. Ilia poses wrestling and sub threats he can use to mix up things Max could puzzle over.. giving him best conditions to set up his power punching or submission. But is he going to use those other weapons? We will see. I'll be looking for who dictates the terms of engagement; what range the striking game is played (boxing or kickboxing); how well Ilia mixes up his martial arts; how freely Max is able to implement his usual style; if Max will choose to untangle w/ Ilia during lengthy striking exchanges, if Ilia is able to keep Max trading barrage of combos w/ him in the pocket and most importantly how Max reacts to Ilia's pressure game.
I have a feeling Whittaker is going to come out aggressive in the first round and try to land some heavy hands on Khamzat right away, I think the Aliskerov fight was largely his game-plan for Khamzat. I think Whittaker's resume is way better than Khamzat's and wasn't too impressed with the win over a short notice, no knees, out of his prime, up a weight class Usman. Whittaker is a much harder matchup. I have a feeling the fight is going to be more competitive for a longer period of time, I think Khamzat's cardio is going to be a little improved but not enough for 5 rounds. I can totally see Ilia and Max ending in a split decision with a lot of controversy, probably a 3/2 split, with that being said I'm siding with Max.
Whittaker is more dangerous in offense, but he also has a weaker chin than Usman. Burns survived getting knocked down due to his elite bjj that forced Khamzat to disengage from the ground game. With Whittaker, Khamzat will have 0 fear of his bjj. Whittaker also tends to get hurt quite often, and Khamzat can, in that case, either tko him or submit him. If Rob hurts Khamzat, on the other hand, I trust him to be able to still clinch up or shoot a takedown in many cases (like vs. Burns when he was really hurt).
@@teomate14s I wouldn’t go too crazy, Geoff Neal is kinda inconsistent. He has very good takedown defense and boxing but sometimes performs better than others. I seen on his instagram that he’s on weight which is good. (He has had bad camps before) if his camp was good, he should get it done with potentially a tko as well. RDA is out of his prime. I’m confident but anything can happen
This tough topic is pointless. Ilia comes from money but that doesn’t mean he is not mentally tough but either way this fight is going to come down to gameplan and skills
i think we are going to see a brand new khamzat and he will look like the best fighter ever or get ko'ed
Bryce keep making these videos. You’re very good at what you do. You’ll thank yourself in a few years
Thank you for that, I will keep going
My new favorite MMA UA-camr!
Whittaker & Topuria are going to win in a fashion
Definitely do these for all the ppv cards!
Will do!

We see the same things 👍
Ayo how about the drip in the new channel branding? 🔥
I go with Hazmat too. His wrestling is just too elite. RW isn’t bulky like Burns and Ossman. So Hazmat should be able too finish him.

Max by headkick round 3
I keep seeing Ilia gets kicked to his face and wobbles. New and Again
Agreed. His defense ask for a head kick and Max get a sneaky jab head kick combo
I believed in you BFB.. But the ilia tip is so casz..
For the first time I wanna bet and I wanna bet heavy on Geoff Neal. How confident are you about?
