Seen plenty of the Murco TEAs at 0:33 as I used to drive road tankers for them out of their Bedworth terminal. A DB class 60 broke down in our sidings once and I asked the driver if he'd tried cleaning the rails with a bit of methylated spirit. He didn't understand the joke LOL
I hope he got it in the end haha, I love seeing the vast array of rolling stock all in one area. It's not often that I get to see TEA's on the network.
I bet that was the exciting and special scene with 61306 and Black Five 44871 Jarred working The Steam Dreams Portsmouth and Southsea KettleEx. Seeing a Steam Locomotive operating anywhere is a Beauty to behold no doubt about that.
It was an amazing sight to see with both steam loco's coming through. I had known that they were coming that's why I stuck around here longer than usual :)
Excellent video and wonderful ending there Jarred. Reminds me of when I went to Preston to see the Flying Scotsman two or three weeks ago. Always nice to see nostalgia and history on our railways.
Thanks ever so much :) I loved coming here, once I knew that Mayflower and the black 5 were making an appearance I had to stay around to capture them :)
What a wonderful sight that charter is Jarred, thoroughly enjoyed watching, all those flybe planes were Dash 8 Q400s, hope that helps you for future videos, thumbs up from me as always mate
Thanks very much bud, this was a great evening spent here and seeing Mayflower made it all the more better along with the Black 5 at the end of the train. From what everyone is telling me about the aircraft they all seem to be saying that they are Dash 8's of some sort
Colas Rail doin' it right. Hey, uhm... What you smokin' on? (Hehheh) 66731 was beautiful, lots of life in her still. Those Goodfeathers really need to relax on the dive-ins, damn suicide flights. A truly great day of Trains and Mile High Dreams, and the Bass from the far Platforms (By Car Park) Line was crushing. It must be worn down, or needs to be? Sounds good though. Mayflower... Epic, but I might take the Black Five. Just seems fitting! Awesome film and Train front to back. The end with old and new service was a nice touch! B.P.
This was certainly better than the first time I had come here, there was so much going on it certainly kept me busy, I think I must be smoking something good for that cough to happen hahaha. Catching the steam trains at the end really made this special for me, having Mayflower and a Black 5 top and tailing was an amazing sight for me and hopefully one I shall have the privilege of seeing again the future
it was great that you manage to get some planes in, which made the video a bit different. anyway it was a fantastic video and can not wait for the next one great capture of that steam tour @tornado922
I always try and include something different when I get the chance, I'm slowly building up my knowledge of aircraft so maybe one day I will actually have the chance to do a full feature film on them
Great video lot of action Trains & Planes and "Mayflower" I can confirm the 2nd plane was a D0-228 back in 1986 Dornier brought one out to New Zealand on a demo tour flown by the company test pilot and the company I worked for was appointed as the agent for NZ (never sold any) the pilot took us up for a test flight he was a former fighter pilot in the German Airforce and I think he thought he was still flying one by the way he flew it, scared the crap out of us.
Thanks very much, seeing mayflower and the black 5 at the end was the greatest sight I had seen in a fair old time. Thanks for the info in regards to the aircraft I'm slowly building up my knowledge of them
Brilliant video, Eastleigh always delivers and what a way to finish with two awesome steamers. If only that 450 was diesel instead of electric you would have been able to blame it for your coughing fit Lol! I look forward to the next video. Keep safe, regards Gary.
Thanks very much. I loved coming here, I was alittle unsure after the first time I had come here but once I knew Mayflower and the Black 5 were coming through I had to stay and capture them and I can safely say I wasn't disappointed. They both looked amazing and ever so clean, I think it was all the dirt on the train coming off that caused the coughing fit hahaha
Majority of aircraft here will be Dash 8 Q 400s. If you are interested in identifying the planes download Flight radar 24, which gives details of the flights, and aircraft
As others have identified the Flybe Turboprops I thought you might like to see the seating lay out and a few general comments from passengers. www.seatguru.com/airlines/Flybe/Flybe_Q400.php
@@Tornado922 I'm not really into commercial aircraft, military aviation is my thing especially vintage military and I live under the flight path to BAE Warton. That's where a good portion of the RAF's fast jets have been built since the late 40's and I recon I've seen most of them that have flown over the house from the late 60's to now.
Thanks very much, I have heard and looked at that app several times when I've been at home. I may start implementing it into more of my videos should I do more films including aircraft
South Coast Trainspotter did 12 hour stay video ther on 23rd ...those murco wagons are from Milford haven... IIRC correctly they went through here in cardiff 2 weeks ago....Trainspotters?...nah Locomotive enthusiasts...lol anoraks are OUT lol
Ah right ok, I did wonder where those tanks came from. Atleast I know now haha, I don't think I could do 12 hours here though it would drive me insane. I prefer the term Rail Enthusiast ;)
Eastleigh is an amazing place to spot and they have quite a big miniature railway

Nice to see kids getting involved in Trainspotting how's adorable is that
It's always good to see young people taking a massive interest in this hobby
Fantastic video tornado and mayflower made it even more splendid
Thanks very much, seeing Mayflower and the Black 5 at the end made this all the more better
Wow well done seeing Black Five I’ve always wanted to see that
Thanks very much, catching two steam engines on one train was certainly a great surprise for me
That was absolutely amazing with the steam dream rail tour & my favorite steam loco was the black 5 nice video mate :-D.
Great video! Thank you for filming these things for us! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do watching you!
Thanks very much :) I love having the chance to come out and share my hobby with the rest of the world :)
Another Fantastic video here Tornado922! I really enjoyed this :)

First Flybe plane was a DASH 8 Q400
thought it was a Bombardier Q400 Flybe or is that the same things as a dash 8 q400
darryl bradbury yeah same thing 👍

Yup! What you said... Cough-Kaff-cough, ahem. Sorry!
Flybe dash 8 followed buy a dornair 328
228 I believe! Slightly smaller variant :D
All I can say is, most of the aircraft will be Dash 8s

Excellent video! Nice footage! You forgot to put the GBRf 66 in the description though
Thanks very much, I altered the description when I saw this comment ;)
The 2nd plane you saw was another Bombardier - 8 Q400 I believe
TheOneAndOnlyRazor Potgieter 2nd was a Dornier 228
The steam trains started the journey from Waterloo to Portsmouth, saw it go through at Farncombe level crossing full of smoke
That must have been a great sight to see!!
They look beautifuk
The 61306 Mayflower and 44871 Black 5
Excellent video🚂🚂🍺
Thanks very much
Can you make a video at Bristol temple meads.
I have one on my channel from last year if you would like to check it out
Nice mix, electric tin tubes, Bombardiers, and a couple of real loco's. They might be dirty, smelly, high-maintenance - but they have character!
This was a great evening spent here and one I would love to recreate, seeing the steam trains was a great sight!!
They are 3 Flybe Dr Havilland Canada DHC-8-Q400's and a Aurigny Written Norman BN-2A Islander
The 4th yet ANOTHER Dash 8
Great vid, am going to Northallerton rn🙂😃
Thanks very much, I hope you had a good time :)

13:10 Rip Flybe

Is there still a speed restriction on the fast lines ?
I would have to assume so judging by how slow they were travelling

The class 58 is a much older engine that no longer operates

Imba 8 year old trainspotter
Well I hope you continue to enjoy the hobby
