  • Vietnam Village Life today with an English twist. Today I bring to you an English Afternoon Tea Party Vietnamese Style with my wife Ngat.
I have bought foodie treats for this afternoon tea party in Vietnam of which originate from Nam Dinh City. Added them to our 3 tier tea set along with a tasty Vietnamese Green Tea from our Aunts garden to bring you Afternoon Tea Vietnamese Style! Enjoy guys!
Hi, I am Simon and I am an expat from England living in a Vietnamese Village in northern Vietnam. I will be documenting my life in a Vietnamese Village, offering snippets of local daily life in Vietnam.
Living in Vietnam as an expat, I will show you what goes on during a working day or even a playful one. It could be gardening, fishing, cooking, eating, drinking, weddings, public holidays, traditional cultural celebrations, riding bicycles through other villages or even making everyday items such as brushes or bamboo items.
I will also document the whole season of rice farming from ploughing the fields to eating a bowl of rice on the table. Follow along with Simon as he explores Vietnam country life.
Village life in Vietnam is the far better than living in the towns and cities. If you want to escape the city life in Vietnam, head on over to Vietnam Village Life and enjoy peace and tranquility!

A good video capturing the Vietnamese traditional tea drinking with snacks. I'm so reminded of Viet Nam when I watch these videos and miss it so much. I think when things are safer, there will be huge pent up demand for travel and I hope then that your business moves back to feast mode. Nothing much I can say now except to hang in there and perhaps adapt to some kind of on-line work opportunities (or non-online if available) and enjoy the time with your nice family while you await the re-opening of the country (whenever that is).
Although originally from New York City, I love Vietnamese village life, and I'm particularly drawn to the North of Viet Nam. Its just my thing. My wife is from Sai Gon but her parents were originally from the North way, way back when they were kids. I like the Northern accent and the music and singing from the North. But mostly, the village life, gardens, and landscape. My favorite Vietnamese singer is Ai Van. Simon - ask your wife if she has ever heard of the singer Ai Van.

Thank you mate. Glad you liked it. Hopefully you could share this with your Vietnamese community in the States. Get this channel really booming with people who may miss Vietnam. Any Facebook groups you or your family are in that may be interested. Being the creator, I am unable to add my links to groups as it is deemed spam, but if you guys can help that would be awesome.
This is the online work really mate, UA-cam. It doesn't earn anything but keeps me occupied until maybe Vietnam opens up....whenever that may be.
I did ask Ngat but she hasn't heard of him/her. Mind you, until I met her she didn't know who Arnold Schwarzenegger was 😳
      Thanks for watching Music Man.

as usual; another good video. the candy type your mom likes so much as well as you is similar to our peanut bar in the united states. a flat type pretty much the same without sesame seeds made by lance. it used to be made by planters and they stopped. crunchy and sweet with peanuts and what looks like cooked hardened syrup then probably sprinkled with sugar. thanks to the both of you.
