Can i ask the tool you used to take the bolts off included in machine packed or not?
I had a new hotpoint washing machine delivered today. When I opened the drum to remove the user manual and hose I noticed the plastic packaging for the user manual was covered in grease or some kind of black oil is this normal? I don’t want to put clothes inside now even after running a drum clean.

I didn’t see anything to take the bolts out with so I used my own tool and the programs are great!

@LuigiFan2008 ye but they faff around on balancing but they can handle it and the suspension and shock absorbers are good and well at handling suds

Do the holes at the back of the machine need to be covered ? As the installer didn’t put them on ?
They don’t have to be, they just prevent dust getting in i assume or something like that

Hello I have a question Why my washing machine starts rinsing the laundry in about 12 minutes to the end, then spins and draws water again for a while and this rinsed laundry no longer smells because it is rinsed back by clean water
The machine may have hidden gunk, try running a drum clean program or a 90c wash empty :)
@@laundrylad2006 But I don't have this program, maybe you need to press several buttons at the same time? I have this problem with 45 min cycle

@@marlenamakuch3360 the 45 minute wash isn’t great you’re best off using the mixed program, but yes you can also try run the auto clean program with some descaler
@@laundrylad2006 Once when I washed it on a mixed cycle the clothes were still dirty, I noticed it on my son's pants which were still covered in mud after washing

My transport bolts were so thight that I was almost ready to get the power toll
Omg yeah they can be quite tight, my indesit 10kg we had that was a real struggle but I’m glad I have this tool

Terrible washing machine. Will destroy and stain your washing. Hotpoint engineer will blame oil/grease stains on soap powder. Laughably incompetent company DO NOT BUY HOTPOINT IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY.
