@@bait4sale9001 I think there is a reason why "forerunners" of Jedi Order, Je'daii, were trained in both DS an LS. They achieved true balance, not by denying emotions, but by finding balance within themselves. From my point of view, force is just like any other living being. It has both light and dark, peace and war. It's capable of doing a "greater good" but it can also be used as a tool of total destruction. By cutting from one side of the force and then tried to solve it's mysteries, it's like trying to solve a puzzle half blind and with only a half of the pieces. Another theory is, that the reason Sith even exists is the direct result of "The Force" trying to "balance" itself. Jedi, by denying half of the true nature of the force, created imbalance. To counteract it, Force "needed" DS users as dark as Jedi were light. This can also explain why Palps was as powerful as he was. Since there were no "Dark Side Users" anymore and Jedi were so "plentiful", to remain at balance, the few DS users who existed were significantly more powerful than 99,99% of the Jedi. Hell, when it comes to pure force potential, Yoda was the only one who could stood against Palps and even he was overwhelmed by Palps's barrage of Force-based attacks.

Vader is a human being who is barely clinging to life though, I think it's good we make him appear vulnerable, sure if he was trying to kill her immediately, his force ability would allow him to do that, but vadernenjoys duels more, and so he has them, and when it comes to dueling unlike with the force, vader is beatable and limited, but it is his mastery and proficiency in dueling that allows him to overcome his inherent vulnerabilities imposed by the suit, and the injuries
I hope he's got plot armor with that suit, because given how intentionally shitty it was designed, it's not good for much else. Like, canonically, Vader's armor is a patchwork of over-the-counter bargain-basement tech, some Force artifacts, and duct tape. It barely kept him alive, and even over and above the kind of pain/discomfort you'd have from the burns, the thing was an ordeal to wear; hence why when he wasn't on duty he spent his time in a bacta tank.
@Kakerot4141 on purpose, of course. His suit was so painful and itchy it strengthened his connection to the dark side. But on the other hand it was made so palpatine could still beat him since it was weak to lightning.

Love how stories of other Jedi are explored other than the world of Skywalker, such as Cal and Ceres. There were 10K Jedi that were alive during episodes 1 to 3, and I'm sure many have survived and were alive from episodes 4 to 6 - more of their stories need to be told.
All hail the great Lord Vader! #MakeTheGalaxyGreatAgain
Cere :"I can beat you, this time you got a health bar."
Vader :"This? Hoho no that's a nerf bar made for the sole purpose of having some fun. When it's over, you die."
Cere :"Oh. Shi-"
Literally, actual vader going all out would stomp
A thank you to this brave hero for making the galaxy a little bit safer
That cutscene where she says “I’ve let go of my fear” they’re holding crossed sabers the same way Vader and Obi Wan do in New Hope. Ceer even does the little saber tap like Obi Wan does to start the next sequence
They allowed Vader to take way too much damage here for my liking. This terrorist can’t compare to the dark Lord of the Sith….and she reminds me of Rebel Scum…
agreed
Agreed
Vader is a human being who is barely clinging to life though, I think it's good we make him appear vulnerable, sure if he was trying to kill her immediately, his force ability would allow him to do that, but vadernenjoys duels more, and so he has them, and when it comes to dueling unlike with the force, vader is beatable and limited, but it is his mastery and proficiency in dueling that allows him to overcome his inherent vulnerabilities imposed by the suit, and the injuries
Vader's plot armor beats Cere's game power 😂
vader has no plot armor here lol. he's stripped of it and nerfed on top of it.
I think realistically vader would've swept the floor with her in a few seconds but then there wouldn't be any gameplay.
@@LabTech41 the suit was built to both increase vaders power=potential and only be weak to the emporer. if vaders suit was top of the line his power lvl would only be at where his physical lvls left him after mustafar
The chosen one🔥
Since JAJ is officially retired, I wouldn't mind him passing the torch to Scott Lawrence as the designated voice for Vader in all future shows/movies. Dude's been doing the voice off and on since the 90s, and I personally think he's nailed it with Fallen Order.
Honestly I prefer a lot the invincibility aura of Vader in fallen order. No way this woman can put a fight like this against him.
worf effect
Agreed at this point Vader should’ve destroyed her
but.... she is a diversity girl boss, she has to kick his ass. the story got in their way of doing what they wanted, so she had to die. god i hate modern star wars now. people who made star wars games and content used to actually give a damn about canon/lore and consistency of characters
@@ninvusoogoar6098 very well said, spot on with Disney Star Wars
@@thestrongestnerd4284 honestly. to many actual star wars fans, watching Disney star wars feels like watching the death of an old friend or loved one being slowly eaten away from the inside out by cancer. knowing there is nothing you can do to save or fix it...
a bit morbid but thats how it really feels for most of us
"Terrorist leader" lmaooooo
Vader arose from the flames and said thank you that attack actually helped me look how cool I look with my cape on fire.
Damn!Lord Vader is so strong! I'm glad that he's on the empire side.
Vader may have won but not that many Jedi can say they gave him a fight...Cere had Vader's number
Cere is buffed to the sky while vader is debuffed a billion times, he has fought stronger opponents and won.
I mean if you read all canon books and comics you know that they either nerfed Vader by 100000% or he was asleep during this fight and still won
@@Ralampos Vader wasn’t debuffed. More so he was holding himself back. He could’ve easily killed Cere if he wanted to, and didn’t until he was almost beaten.
@@SixLNii This guy gets it, it's like nobody watched the fight lmao. He was literally holding himself back, he has always held himself back.
@@cyberleo1245 starkiller rekt vader in both games tho > incoming thats non canon comments
I know it is a video game but the fact she survived this long is ridiculous to me.
And that she manages to do so much damage to Vader is stupid
shes a woman...thats why
He got caught off guard by the book self dropping. He wasn’t trying fully at the start.
"Kal... He's one tap."
No it’s ok saber gut shots through the spine are not fatal according to disney
I wonder if this takes place before or after Kenobi? Since both are happening in the same year.
I feel like not long after
@@NUKEYHEAD
I feel like it’s after too.
cere: puts up a decent fight
vader: hold my beer
Cere: *gets buffed to the sky*
Vader: *gets 1000000000 debuffs*
Star wars nerds (i.e. me): *hold my beer*
xqcL
can't believe he laughed at the end.. jeez
Vader: "I killed everyone in a child-kidnapping cult of sexless space magicians, why do people act like I'M the bad guy?"
I'm so glad they actually got James Earl Jones to voice Darth Vader.
Its not him but is still a veeerry good vader voice, I believe its the same VA from fallen order?
@@tobyjones7682 It is. It’s also who voiced him in Squadrons for the sparse moments he showed up, and in the VR Vader Immortal game. Named Scott Lawrence. He seems to be their go to for his game appearances nowadays.
@@kobayashi1194 thats good cause he's a great vader, personally I hope for live action stuff they get him to do it over that AI crap after James retired
@@tobyjones7682 I would honestly prefer they do that too.
If this is canon, this would put Cere amongst the most powerful jedi force users, she definitely gave Darth a run for his money.
and this is an actual issue, but ppl dont really see to care. I love cere, but that fight was too easy for her given the fakish vader healthbar
@@xSoulhunterDKx powerscaling in star wars never made sense so it really isn't much of an issue lol
@@Axel_Kasai The existence of Rey clearly disagrees lul
@@xSoulhunterDKx I mean, legends version of Darth Maul seemed to hit Darth as much as she did, Darth even barely won that fight in very similar fashion.
She had him in close quarters combat and striking but Vader expert use of the Force, was the X Factor here it kept him in the fight and won it
I'm glad to see that only one who saw this fight for what it really was.
Cere stood for very long despite being impaled with a lightsaber
And Vader just walked out? What?!
Awesome to see him make a return
So does he have any other scenes? Or does he just up and show up? Why didn't Cal try to finish him off? Why did Vader just leave without finishing all of them?
@@LetsGetitBoah cal would get destroyed in secs💀
@@Rqgs probably why he ran for his life in the first game lol
4:35 I like his little shoulder shimmy up the wall. That caught me off guard XD
I love how Vader just walks the F away. Doesn't even bother to stick around...
Thank you for bringing peace to this glorious empire Lord Vader!!
Long live the Empire!
I know people will make all these memes about your title, but I actually do appreciate that you leave out *who* he kills in the title.
It’s so stupid how literally a day after the game releases we got tons of assholes putting spoilers in the titles.
smorta
yea i hate when they show the a big part of the scene in the thumbnail and gives basically the explanation in the title, but that title for me is what made me watch it like lmao vader kills a terrorist i gotta see this
Not even Savathun can stop Vader, the baddest of the bad
"Hah! You missed all my vital organs!"
"Yeah but this is a plasma blade, I'm cooking you from the inside out."
Vader and fire never mix well..
I don’t get how it seems EVERYONE is now able to fight Vader. At first yeah but as he got used to the armor no way
He didnt take her seriously at first.
The amount of man-hours that must have gone into this scene, and you still end up watching a sequence where each combatant swings their lightsabre right through the other multiple times without causing so much as a surface laceration.
It feels really strange to see how laser saber cuts him but doesn't kill, especially when we talk about Vader himself. They could make thing sort of Sekiro did - enemy parries your attacks but become more tired. That would feel fair for Vader. You still fight him, he still gets your attacks, yet he is not looks like whipping bag
Vader is way too nerfed these days
it is because vader is a man and not a woman.
don't forget "the force is female"🙄🤢
@@sergioplazat3995 glad I stopped caring after they shit on the EU
Everybody and their mother can make Vader start wheezing in a fight apparently
She's a jedi master, don't underestimate the severity of vaders injuries, it's his mastery in dueling and raw potential in the force alone that allows him to overcome these issues, he's literally a decaying sack of flesh at this point
Vader bringing balance and peace in the universe
This might be the first time I’ve ever seen the correct game title linked in the video description.
Impossible, how the lord vader can kill in the single time?
It's Vader my friend
I feel like the more they use Vader in new media, the weaker he becomes. They keep having to justify how characters survive and get away. Like seriously his track record is crazy now. At least he won in this fight, but I think I liked it more when he was an unstoppable force of nature in the past.
The lightsaber sound design tho
Vader: "Cere, I love you. Jedi Knight 2, can't wait to play it."
I'm not a star wars guy, but I have to say this was a really excellent scene to watch
Lord Vader kills the leader of a communist terrorist cell. Based.
Bossfights in which you lose anyway are always an ingenious gameplay solution.
I just watched this high and it was eoic
And speaking of terrorist, imagine if Darth Vader manage to slay Saw Gerrera and his Partisans.
Saw Gerrera is not canon for real Star Wars fans.
@@philippealain6172 The man was in Clone Wars, Rebels, Rouge One, and Bad Batch WTH do you mean he isn't canon for real fans
Ironic Darth Vader trained the first Rebel Cell
He would not be able to catch them with how frequently they move
@@walkerhall7709 Disney fan detected lmao
Such a satisfying scene, I already hated Cere in the last game. She was responisble for Trilla to become an Inquisitor and if not for Cere she wouldn´t have been killed by Vader either.
Bringing peace and order to the galaxy one stab at a time
For the Empire! Hail Lord Vader!
