    You are amazing! I have been practising pilates for a few months now; and have finally found a really good place! I struggle so much with lower core muscles/activation though - it feels like I lack those muscles? 😩 I have done a lot of running in the past and I wonder if I am used to using my leg muscles too much? Roll up and rolling like a ball feels impossible without strap or momentum (or falling flat on my back!) Is this something you have heard before? Using the straps doesn't always feel like it's giving the right move.

      hey love, without seeing you do this my assumption is that you're hipflexors are more dominate and that is why you come up with a flat back. Keep using the strap! Its for you! And the more advanced you get the more you'll love it! A few months is not that long actually sooo keep going! And, we might need to explore finding the connections to your Thass® I've got a workshop on my site.     Lesley I have a question: make or not make the pulses when you are up and forward. Some teachers said not pulses and you mention to do it. yes or not? why? Thanks =)

      A lot of people weren't taught that there were pulses. I teach them because my teacher who was taught by Joseph Pilates taught them to me and they help deepen the connection and open the backside.

      @@yamilamacias5098 Well, have you done them with or without? Which do you feel you get more out of? I do them with because I believe I get more out of the pulses. I really hope you join me for my challenge. I think a lot of your questions will get answered in the exploration of the work. xx
